The Heavy Equipment Mechanic performs all functions pertaining to the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty off-road construction equipment. Responsibilities The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will:
Comply with all safety regulations, policies, and record-keeping
Dismantle and reassemble trucks, machines, and equipment to gain access to the problem area
Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access
Visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions
Read schematics
Utilize diagnostic software to troubleshoot malfunctions
Weld, cut, and fabricate equipment and components
Meet customer service expectations

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Mechanic with a strong industrial mechanical background to join our industrial maintenance team. Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
Utilize welding and torch cutting techniques to fabricate and repair components.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary (Monday - Sunday with some overnight work) and overtime is frequently required.
