BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking an SAP BRIM -Business Subject Matter Expert to work in the Middletown, PA area. This is a full time position with at least 2 days on-site and possibly 3 days remote.
As an SAP BRIM-Business Subject Matter Expert, you will provide deep functional expertise in SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) and related SAP S/4HANA modules. This role ensures business requirements are accurately captured, validated, and implemented according to SAP best practices. The SME acts as the primary advisor for subscription management, billing, invoicing, and revenue processes, supporting design decisions, testing, and training to enable successful deployment and adoption of SAP BRIM solutions. be responsible for
Key Responsibilities:
Business Process Expertise
Serve as the primary functional authority for SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) and related processes.
Advise best practices for subscription order management, convergent invoicing, and usage-based billing.
Validate solution designs against business objectives and compliance requirements.
Requirements & Design Support
Lead workshops to capture and refine business requirements; ensure alignment with SAP capabilities.
Collaborate with architects and developers to minimize customizations and maintain SAP standards.
Review functional specifications, user stories, and configuration documents for accuracy.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Support SIT and UAT planning and execution; validate test results and defect resolutions.
Ensure migrated data meets business expectations, and dispute handling processes are efficient.
Training & Change Management
Develop and deliver training materials for business teams and end-users.
Provide knowledge transfer sessions to increase familiarity with SAP BRIM and S/4HANA functionalities.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure business processes adhere to PCI DSS, SOC1/SOC2, and Commonwealth IT security protocols.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support risk mitigation activities.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in business process design and analysis within SAP environments
3+ full-cycle SAP BRIM or S/4HANA implementations.
Expertise in subscription-based and usage-based billing models.
Skills:
Deep understanding of SAP BRIM modules (SOM, CI, CC) and integration points.
Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to guide technical teams and influence solution design decisions.
Preferred Skills:
SAP BRIM certifications (BR235/240/245/416).
Experience with Agile/Hybrid methodologies.
Familiarity with Microsoft ADO/JIRA for backlog and requirement tracking.
Industry experience in utilities or transportation sectors.
