Position Overview:

Unit Summary
STC 3 is a 35-bed monitored hospital unit that cares for a unique population of patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Our diverse patient population includes complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension patients, kidney and pancreas transplant patients, peritoneal dialysis patients, and radioactive implant cases. STC 3 is the only unit in the hospital that performs peritoneal dialysis. STC 3 is the only floor equipped with lead-lined rooms to care for patients receiving radioactive therapies in the inpatient setting.
What You'll Do:
As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will gain hands-on experience and specialized skills including:
* Peritoneal Dialysis management
* Epidural
* Continuous Bladder Irrigation
* Nephrostomy and Urostomy care

· Under the supervision of the OR Manager and/or Director of Perioperative Services, the Charge Nurse is to ensure that patient-flow through the Operating Room phase is accomplished in an organized and efficient manner with emphasis on providing high quality patient care.
