Key Responsibilities: Wound Care Support & Patient Assistance: Obtain and document vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, height, and weight). Replenish wound care kits and maintain organized “go bags” for efficient daily operations. Assist in processing wound care orders in collaboration with the provider and Practice Manager. Wound Care Coordination & Scheduling: Work with the Practice Manager to optimize the daily wound visit and consultation schedule. Confirm patient appointments the day before and provide estimated arrival times on the day of the visit. Coordinate wound care visits with primary care physicians (PCPs), specialists, and home health providers. Ensure all necessary wound care documentation, orders, and medical records are obtained and processed correctly. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. EMT Certification required. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical practice setting, preferably in wound care. Experience with EMR systems (Athena preferred). Valid driver's license with a clean driving history. Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and multitasking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Knowledge of medical terminology and office operations, including Microsoft Office. Schedule: Day shift, Monday - Friday.
