Qualifications
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
Current licensure in the State of Ohio or if working in WV will need a WV license as a RegisteredNurse.
BLS and annual stroke education certification required upon hire.
ACLS, PALS and TNCC required within 1 year of employment.
ASLS certification preferred upon hire.
Stroke Education is required during orientation, and may include, but not limited to, access to stroke policies, completion of on-line stroke module education, NIHSS, ASLS & T-PA administration.
NRP within 1 year of employment.
Maintains compliance in RQI.

Qualifications
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
Current licensure in the State of Ohio or multi-state license from state of residence required.
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ASLS and PALS preferred upon hire but will consider experience and require all certifications within 1 year of employment.
Two years of CVICU with open heart experience required and two to five years of advanced CVICU experience preferred.
Maintains compliance in RQI required.

Strong background knowledge on hemodynamics, arrhythmia management, pathophysiology, and pharmacology.

Qualifications

Charge Nurse:
In addition to above essential functions, the charge nurse will also:
Complete daily nurse leader rounds.
Perform shift checks as assigned.

Manages throughput on the nursing unit and make changes to assignments as needed.
Reports to the nursing unit manager any problems in regards to performance, safety, staffing, behavior, etc.
Assists with conflict resolution in the absence of the nursing manager in collaboration with the house supervisor.
Role models positive behaviors with staff including integrity, fairness and consistency.
Agent for change for the department.
Assigned and assist as super user for completion of incident report.
Qualifications
Minimum Education/Experience Required:
Current licensure in the State of Ohio or if working in WV will need a WV license as a RegisteredNurse.
BLS required upon hire.
ACLS within 1 year of employment required.

Two years of CVICU with open heart experience required and two to five years of advanced CVICU experience preferred.
