We are seeking a Behavior HealthTechnician to join our team in Dubois, PA.This position will be based primarily out of Osceola Mills Elementary School.
Behavior HealthTechnician will be working with 1st grade student in the school setting. Hours are 8:15am-2:15pm Monday-Friday with additional afternoon and evening hours possible in other locations.
EARN $17/hr!
Position Details
Behavioral HealthTechnicians provide one-on-one interventions to a child or adolescent at home, school, and/or community setting when the behavior without this intervention would require a more restrictive treatment or educational setting.

Additional hours potentially available in the home and community settings
• Works one-one-on with client(s)
• Implements a behavior modification treatment plan targeting the recommendations from the psychological evaluation and developed by a senior level team member. Direction will determine for the setting for implementation of the treatment plan based upon medical necessity.
• Utilizes prescribed interventions as needed when the child exhibits problematic behaviors in each particular setting. Targets child specific antecedent, behavioral/teaching, consequent, reinforcement strategies techniques and additional psychosocial rehabilitative activities as prescribed in the treatment plan.
• Implements and models intervention techniques for members of the treatment team to stabilize the child or adolescent, lending support for family efforts to stabilize the child or adolescent, by transferring appropriate techniques and skills, and to promote developmentally and/or age-appropriate behavior. (i.e. the parent, grandparent, care givers, teachers, Personal Care Aide) for the transfer of skills which allows for successful discharge of services.
• Collaborates with all members of the treatment team and professionals working in the home or other community settings, including the family.
• Documents behavioral and program data during session, from each environment; Maintains progress notes for every billable contact or per regulatory and program requirements.
• Maintains contact with case specific treatment team.
• Submits payroll weekly or as directed by supervisor; including all county specific paperwork required with weekly submission.
• Receives scheduled supervision from an assigned clinical supervisor
• Attends training as required; attains required training hours per fiscal year.
• May perform other related duties, when required or assigned.

THE POSITION
PASADENA HUMANE is currently hiring Veterinary Heath Technicians with experience and licenses (RVT or LVT) in our Veterinary Health Department.
We are looking for professionals who learn quickly, have strong interpersonal skills and feel passionate about our mission. The right person for this job will be licensed as an RVT or LVT.
We care for all the pet animals and wildlife entering our shelter. As a HealthTechnician you will partner with veterinarians to address the husbandry, medical and behavioral needs of each animal on its journey to a forever home. In addition to partnering with veterinarians, HealthTechnicians work with multiple other teams, including animal control officers, customer care associates (in adoptions, the animal resource center, the SNiP clinic), and volunteer services, to ensure that animals become available for placement as expediently as possible.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for individuals who are comfortable working directly with animals in a medical and shelter environment. 3-5 years previous experience preferred. You should be a master of organization, comfortable on a learning curve, able to elicit cooperation and offer tangible contributions. We are looking for someone who has confidence and experience in:
High quality/high volume spay/neuter: we aim to perform 40 cat, dog and the occasional rabbit, spay/neuter surgeries a day, 4 days a week. We need a technician who is comfortable supporting high paced surgery, specifically anesthesia induction and monitoring. We also routinely perform amputations and enucleations. You will have an opportunity to develop your local block skills as well as your low stress handling skills

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
