Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to supply prescribed sonography examinations for radiographic diagnoses. Qualifications: Associate Sonographer * Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours OR registered sonographer * Experience: no experience required * Certification: Obtained ARDMS or ARRT or CCI registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire In the state of Arkansas, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS-RVT), OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International- Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) is required within 12 months of hire and/or transfer * Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice Sonographer * Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours * Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience * Certification: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area; Basic Life Support (BLS) In the state of Arkansas, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS-RVT), OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International- Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) is required * Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. * Current Associate Sonographers who are moving to the Sonographer title on the career ladder must complete all required Associate Sonographer competencies. Senior Sonographer * Education: Graduate of a school of Sonography and completed required clinical hours * Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience * Certification: ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and 4 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area OR 2 applicable advanced registries/certifications within the applicable work area and 7 years of applicable experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) In the state of Arkansas, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography-Registered Vascular Technologist (ARDMS-RVT), OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International- Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists-Vascular Sonography (ARRT-VS) is required * Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice. * Current Advanced Sonographers who are moving to Senior Sonographer title on the career ladder must complete all required Sonographer AND Advanced Sonographer competencies.
