Forensic Nurse As Needed Provide comprehensive forensic nursing care to victims of violence. The forensic nurse cares for patients across the lifespan that present to Meritus Health using evidence-based practice. Maintain clinical competency and participates in continuing education related to medical/forensic issues as outlined by the Maryland Board of Nursing. Coordinates care with the multi-disciplinary team involved in the investigation and with other health care providers. Minimum Qualifications: Education - ASN required. BSN Preferred. Previously grandfathered active RN's who graduated from an accredited nursing school as a Diploma RN will continue to have ASN requirement waived. Experience - Minimum of one-year acute care experience preferred. Other nursing experience will be considered on a case by case basis.
