The OB/GYN office nurse is a Registered Nurse who must be able to perform all aspects of the nursing process under the Professional Nursing Law. He/she functions as a coordinator and liaison of care between the patient and physicians. The OB/GYN Office Nurse develops an assessment of the patient's problem based on written and/or electronic communication and review of the electronic medical record.
