Manages the department or team responsible for inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards. The Quality Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with AS9100D, NADCAP, and ITAR requirements. This role provides strategic leadership to maintain the highest standards of product integrity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager will develop, implement, and sustain quality assurance policies, processes, and performance metrics that support continuous improvement across production, engineering, and supply chain functions. Position Responsibilities: * Lead and maintain the AS9100D-certified QMS, ensuring compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements. * Serve as the Management Representative for audits and external assessments (AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR, and customer). * Oversee inspection and testing operations to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications. * Manage, mentor, and develop Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Supplier Quality staff; assess training needs and provide targeted development. * Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems for production and material processing. * Partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to establish and maintain process capability and control throughout manufacturing. * Lead internal audit, corrective/preventive action (CAPA), and management review processes. * Ensure effective management of document control, calibration, nonconformance, and traceability systems. * Interface directly with customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies regarding quality performance, audits, and compliance matters. * Monitor and report on key performance indicators (Customer PPM, Supplier PPM, Cost of Poor Quality, Audit Performance). * Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce variation, improve process flow, and drive a zero-defect culture. * Recommend and implement new or improved quality control methods, procedures, and standards. * Stay current with government and industry quality requirements, including AS9100D, NADCAP, and ITAR/EAR regulations. * Manage departmental goals, budgets, and resources to ensure milestones are achieved. * Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. * 5+ years of progressive quality experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing, including leadership responsibility. * In-depth knowledge of AS9100D, NADCAP, and ITAR/EAR regulations. * Proficiency with APQP, PPAP, FAI, SPC, MSA, and GD&T. * Certified in Lean and/or Six Sigma quality methodologies (Green Belt or higher preferred). * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to drive corrective action and influence cross-functional teams. * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable results. * Ability to travel occasionally for audits, training, or supplier visits. The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $135,000 - $160,000 This position is eligible to participate in an incentive plan. Metrics and level of participation are determined annually. Job Overview: Maintenance Technician is responsible for liquid-injection machine set-up & process troubleshooting on molding machines, extruders, auxiliary, and processing equipment. Providing hands-on technical ability. Strong trouble shooting skills required to minimize equipment downtime by identifying faults and conducting corrective actions. Responsibilities: * Material change-overs on liquid injection machines as prescribed by a weekly schedule. * Check and complete all paperwork associated with the setup and adjustments of tooling, machines and auxiliary equipment. * Maintain the highest level of workmanship standards in order to produce high quality product. * Use strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot machines and auxiliary equipment. Determines the root cause of machine alarms faults . Makes all necessary adjustments and tool or machine repair recommendations. * Initiates a root cause investigation to address any major maintenance related equipment failures and report findings to Maintenance Manager. * Suggests implementations to equipment for maintenance related improvements to increase productivity and reduce overall cost and equipment failure. * Promotes teamwork and ensures that all maintenance work orders generated are opened and closed in a timely manner. * Communicate effectively with Flexan employees and Management. * Calibration of equipment to ensure all equipment is following the standards within a specified range. * Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process. * Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters voltmeters, megohmmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. * Maintain a safe working environment. * Communicate best practices to other team members across shifts. * Cooperation and professional conduct with coworkers, staff, and managers. * Meet Flexan standards for quality and productivity. * Follow all Flexan procedures for traceability, process control, safety, and housekeeping. * Follow all procedures for cleanroom operation, cleanroom attire, and contamination control. This position primarily supports proposal needs for large and/or complex projects pertaining to EESS Project Operation related solutions including Utility & Industrial Substations, Hydro-electric modernization, switchgear projects as well growing market trends associated with Microgrid and Energy Transition projects. The expected annual salary range for this role is $123913.08 - $181739.18 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you'll do: * Support proposals for the Central Region and requests from other locations including US national, as required * Vet and Respond to requests from Project Operations Managers, NAS Sales, Utility & Other Reps, Channel Partners, EESS Market Segment Managers (Utility, Industrial, Government, Commercial) * Detailed technical and commercial proposal writing lead for all opportunities in the region and supporting other regions as required. * Support proposals related to Large Projects within the following segments: Utility (distribution / transmission, generation/hydro/gas/coal), Switchgear modernization, Data Centers (Substation and Switchgear), Industrial (Switchgear upgrades and Control systems), and Government Projects. * Support other team members in other regions as necessary. * Travel as required for site-visits, customer meetings and sales training meetings (Typically one to three days maximum per trip). * Pricing development, construction estimating via subcontractor scope development. * Providing solutions beyond the standard specifications to provide greater customer value. * Detailed project specification analysis and review * Equipment specification review and pricing * Develop Level I schedules for proposal * Contracts terms and conditions understanding and capturing risk with Regional Project Operations Managers * Customer Presentations via joint customer visits with various sales channels and presentations provided to end-users, or other sales channels to help educate and promote our turnkey / complex project capabilities * Project detailed hand-off and support ongoing Projects by helping to capture "Extras" on projects which were beyond the original specifications * Support monthly reporting of proposal activities to Project Operations * Activity involved in personal professional growth and development * Complete twenty (20) hours of recommended Eaton University classes from TAS training program list, including all required annual safety training (EFC 0 or 1) * Contribute standardized proposals templates and develop and share pricing or other tools to improve TAS proposal efficiency Qualifications: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: ⦁ B.S. Engineering Degree (Electrical Preferred) or Bachelors Degree in other areas with Engineering/Technical Experience of 5+ years as described in part B below. ⦁ 5+ years minimum electrical industry related application engineering and proposal development experience with additional experience in electrical power systems, hydro / excitation, industrial and utility substation construction and switchgear projects. ⦁ Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.     What you'll do: The Eaton Development Program Applications Engineering is a two-year rotational (optional 3rd year) program designed to develop future application engineers within our Electrical Sector.
