THE JOB:
Join our dynamic team at MGM Northfield Park as a Cage Cashier, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering outstanding guest experiences while handling monetary transactions and exchanges.
THE STARTING RATE: $18.19
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
* Perform various transactions including frontline entry level, chip bank, poker, cage credit, and employee bank/window transactions.
* Handle functions at the marker/IOU bank and High Limit cage; provide service to patron Kiosk/TRU units and employee Recycler/JetSafe units.
* Cash checks, redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), and Race and Sports tickets in accordance with specified guidelines.
* Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions on patron accounts and redeem acceptable foreign currencies.
* Securely document all company asset transactions and maintain accurate electronic and manual transaction logs; assist patrons with general inquiries and oversee safety deposit box issuance or surrender.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* The position requires the ability to work varied shifts, including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
* Basic understanding of mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, along with money handling.
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all business contacts.
* Capable of balancing a bank without assistance, including identifying errors when out of balance.
* Is at least 21 years old.
* Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent (required).
* Has 6+ months of prior relevant experience (high volume cash handling required)

Summary
Greet and assist guests at ski lift access points, outdoors on snow. Check legitimacy of guest's tickets through RFID access gates, assist guests through the line/queue pre-boarding of lift, and assist lift operators with lift access maintenance. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee's job is to get and keep guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Greets guests at lift access points and initiates the conversation, answering questions that guests may have pertaining to the services of the mountain and local area.
Check legitimacy of guest's ticket by means of RFID access gates.
Understand and recognize the many types of products that can be scanned at the RFID lift access points.
Maintain and control a convenient flow of movement for our guest in line/queue.
Assemble/Disassemble lift mazes, RFID access gates, trash reciprocals and appropriate signage at the top/bottom of each lift terminal.
Resolve face-to-face guest discrepancies.
Directs guests to the appropriate areas including, but not limited to, ticket windows, restaurants, rentals, restrooms, phone, water fountain, etc.
Provides awareness to guests about the responsibility code.
Contribute to team effort by participating in Job Sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and employees;
Participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external guest interactions.

Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
Cash out of chips from customers playing table games.
Paying of Quicket Tickets (TITO's)
Processing of customer's cash advances.
Cashing and processing of Traveler's Checks.
Cashing of Personal Checks and Payroll checks.
Handling of both Front Money / Safekeeping deposits and withdrawal requests.
Prepare fills for table games.
Payoff of jackpots given to cage by slot GSR's.
Cashing of Race and Sports book tickets when sports book is closed.
Assisting vendors in disbursement and receipt of assigned employee banks and revenue
Ability to stand and bend, lift, for prolonged periods of time
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
