Position Responsibilities: Administer medications to residents while following the 5 Rights Report any allegations of abuse, neglect and misappropriation to Director of Nursing and Administrator Report any change in condition to the charge nurse Assist CNAs with answering call lights and other responsibilities Update physicians, family members, etc. of change in condition as needed Perform other duties as requested. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions. Skill in preparing and maintaining records, assisting with development of protocols, and responding to correspondence. Skill in developing and maintaining relationships with patients, medical staff and the public. Ability to assess patients in person and over the telephone and to document findings.
