    NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is looking for a Welder 2 to join our Circular Products team in Sauk Rapids, MN as we are expanding our Sauk Rapids footprint and adding in a 2nd shift. A Welder 2 is responsible for performing MIG welding, layout, tacking, fabrication and building functions in the manufacture of various products in accordance with product specifications. Other combinations of formal training and experience will be considered. Successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory. Millerbernd Manufacturing Company is an AWS (American Welding Society) Sustaining Company Member. Job Title: Welder 2 Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Salary Range: $25.50 - 30.00 per hour (Non-Exempt)(In compliance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, this range reflects the anticipated compensation for this role. Actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and other factors.) Shift Schedule : 1st shift Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm Shift Differential : 1st shift - N/A As a Welder 2 , you will: Perform the following GMAW welds - butt - V - single bevel and fillet welds on carbon steel Produce welds that pass visual inspection Can perform necessary repairs that pass adhere to MMC Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and CWI inspection requirements Demonstrates the ability to weld the above weld joints with either .045 and/or .062 diameter wires Read and understand Millerbernd's WPS's - select appropriate wire and shielding gas and weld within WPS weld parameters Proficient in print reading and understands weld symbols and welding gauges Can perform welds using following wire - solid - flux core and metal core as needed. Can weld carbon, stainless steel as needed Perform carbon arc gouging and recognize when any and all defects have been removed Layout and tack to specifications Use grinder or other appropriate tools to clean, smooth out, grind or finish parts as needed Use various machines to fabricate, build, and design products. Monitor the production board and internal paperwork to perform tasks in the designated sequence Accurately label all parts for routing to next operation Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required Enter job data in production tracking system Use crane, hoist, forklift or other material handling equipment to transport materials and product into and out of the work area as required Must be AWS GMAW certified Welders employed with Millerbernd will have the opportunity to complete all weld certification requirements including AWS certification within 14 days of employment - up to 3 attempts Welders employed with Circular Products-Sauk Rapids location are required to obtain and maintain ASME certification requirements Ensure use of safe work procedures and wear all required PPE Perform work at the appropriate pace to maintain quality and productivity requirements Role Qualifications as a Welder 2 : Preferred candidates will have 3 years' experience in metal fabrication/welding experience Successful completion of internal welding test is mandatory.
