The Case Managers will provide administrative and case management support to neutrals and attorneys, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism throughout all stages of the dispute resolution process. CA legal/litigation experience required.
Responsibilities
Manage assigned caseloads from initial filing to completion of arbitration or mediation
Serve as primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, and neutrals regarding scheduling, case updates, and procedural requirements
Maintain case files, track deadlines, and ensure timely communication and document management
Coordinate and schedule hearings, pre-hearing conferences, and related case events
Draft, format, and distribute correspondence, case summaries, and procedural documents
Process payments, deposits, and case fees as needed
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedural rules
Provide excellent client service while managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment
Collaborate with colleagues and neutrals to resolve scheduling or procedural issues efficiently
Qualifications
2-4 years of legal or litigation experience (e.g., litigation paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary background)
Understanding of the civil litigation process and related terminology
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with attorneys and clients
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

2-4 years of legal/litigation experience
Understanding of civil litigation processes and terminology
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various personalities and a busy caseload

Purpose and Impact:

Essential Functions:
Completes staff training as required by SNAP and agency;

Follows up on incoming referrals and schedules clients for intakes appointments.
Monitors youth and family's progress through weekly compliance calls;

Ensures weekly materials are prepared and ready for SNAP groups including handouts, manuals, and all other required items;
Supports the SNAP Coordinator with organization of food arrangements as needed;
Participates in pre-briefing and de-briefing meetings weekly with other SNAP Team members;
Participates in weekly consultation calls with the Florida Network;
Willingness to work nontraditional business hours including evenings when Groups are scheduled.
Prepares technology that is required for weekly group delivery;

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Case Aide for La Jornada provides administrative and document support to program staff. Case Aides are required to maintain a flexible, organized and efficient work schedule and are subject to work extended hours and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Case Aide for La Jornada will perform duties including, but not limited to:

Work alongside program case management team in supporting ORR's 7 Day Case Management policy requirements.

Complete records requests from ORR.
Complete Verification of Release (VOR) changes and support case management with VOR needs and updates.
Ensure documentation is timely uploaded to ORR's system of record to wit: UC Portal and NYAP's Evolv system.
Maintain daily ongoing support of case management efforts at unification and reunification of children with potential sponsors, including assisting with completion of searches, background checks, CA/N checks, and other various case management activities.
Assist with maintenance of case files and completion of intake and discharge packages.
Support the coordination of legal service providers (LSP) “Know Your Rights' presentations and legal screenings.
Provide ongoing case aide support to foster parent licensing, clinical and medical teams when needed.
Assist Program with coordination of travel for children and staff.
Support case management with intake case files and required intake documentation.
Ability to prioritize work and be a deadline-driven self-starter capable of juggling multiple priorities at once and executing each to completion despite obstacles.

Social Worker Foster Care
As a Social Work at Catholic Charities, you will perform as a team member with existing public and/or private agency staff in the coordination of services to ensure successful placement, referral and follow up services for children and families. Complete required documentation as per contracts and/or agreements with public children's services agencies and/or private contract agencies. In addition, ensure that all activities and documentation are in compliance as required per contract agreements, state/federal laws and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and the relevant programs are consistent
with the mission, vision and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland.
Monitor assigned foster homes to assure ODJFS standards are met.
Demonstrate knowledge of current Child Welfare practices and approaches consistent with local, regional and national initiatives and applicable State and National Legislation. Must remain committed to receiving on-going training relevant to Foster Care and ensuring foster families are in compliance with ODJFS.
Maintain and meet all required continuing education as defined by system, certification, assessor requirements and Ohio licensure boards as appropriate.
Monitor individual care plan for foster children and conduct necessary assessments and treatments as therapeutic needs arise.
Participate in quality improvement activities; attend appropriate court hearings and case staffing on a consistent basis.
Supervise/evaluate foster caregivers and foster children.
Participate in on-going supervision to ensure quality of services within foster care services.
Understand the usage of, and appropriately complete system documents, reports and client records.
Implement, utilize and/or participate in system policies, procedures, and operations by: following directives of clinical/administrative staff, designee, or responsible party assisting in the efficient and professional operation of site business and serving as a liaison to other sites and/or departments.
Demonstrate the ability to meet system expectations for direct services with clients and families as defined within the scope of service.
Respond to pager and phone calls on an on-going and emergency basis to meet the needs of foster and biological families.
Understand the rights of clients in care and demonstrate cultural diversity and sensitivity. Is aware of and responsive to the cultural diversity needs presented by clients/families seeking services.
Knowledgeable and responsive to cultural diversity issues presented in the coordination of services for families.

Requirements:
Combination of education and experience normally represented by a bachelor's degree in social work, Human Services or related field with 1-3 years related professional experience in an Adoption/Foster Care Agency in the coordination of services for children and families.
Must have LSW or licensure eligible.
Must be familiar with ODJFS rules and regulations for Foster Care and Adoptions.
Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of hire.
Home-study Assessor trained or in the training process and experienced in Home-study/Recertification and Supervision.
Knowledgeable and responsive to cultural diversity issues presented in the coordination of services for families.
Knowledge of FACSIS and ODJFS Administrative process and procedures for Certification/Recertification recommendations for Foster Care/Adoption.
