Physician Assistant With the supervision of a Physician, (as per O.R.C. 4730) the PA-C provides medical care, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to patients with complex, acute, and chronic health conditions. As a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional medical care to patients of all ages with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical conditions. Working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, you will diagnose, treat, and educate patients while ensuring the highest standard of care and service. Some highlights of this opportunity include: Oncology Physician Assistant's and Nurse Practitioners provide value-based care in an ambulatory setting, and will be involved in triage and the spectrum of outpatient management including, but not limited to the following: Benign hematology visits, sick/urgent visits, chemotherapy education/teach visits, bone marrow aspirations, overseeing infusion follow up appointments, and ongoing survivorship care. Qualifications · Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), is required. · Eligibility to be certified as a Physician Assistant (PA), or National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP), or Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGPCNP) is required. · Chemotherapy Biotherapy provider card · Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is preferred.
