Job Description JOIN OUR TEAM We are looking for an Crisis Co - Responder to join our team. The Crisis Co - Responder responds to calls for service related to mental health with Davenport Police Department officers to de-escalate crises, screens individuals for appropriate mental health and substance use disorder related services, and assesses risk and protective factors for those at high risk for suicidal/homicidal actions. Crisis Co -Responder will be a mix between afternoon shift (1:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and mid shift (10:00 AM - 8:00 PM) with coverage required every other weekend. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Ride along with local law enforcement during scheduled shift to be dispatched directly to relevant incidents or be dispatched to the scene post-initial law enforcement contact.
