The Corporate Nurse Leader assists the Regional Nurse Consultant build and lead delivery of supporting services for our care management, utilization management, clinical quality, and population health teams. This position is responsible for assisting with unifying, further developing, and expanding the facility's clinical team to deliver a streamlined, effective, and client-centered approach to service. This position is responsible, as part of the regional facility leadership and care teams, for the overall patient care management process. The primary responsibilities will be to assist the Accounts Payable director in all aspects of the Accounts Payable process. * Acting AP Director in AP Director's absence. * Provides accounting assistance to the AP Director in coordinating the AP process with Monarch facilities as assigned - generally by MHO group * Receives, processes, verifies, and reconciles all invoices for assigned facilities. To include review and importing of all AP feeds received by assigned facilities * Works directly with facility to ensure AP process is completed timely and accurately thru DSSI. Working with them to resolve any issues with past due or missing invoices * Reconciles monthly vendor statements -to include follow up on any items that are missing. * Maintains vendor relationship and advises AP director of any payment requests received. * Prepares and maintains spreadsheet for vendors requiring timely payments * Prepares weekly spreadsheet outlining "special" payment requests * Assists AP director in ensuring all W9s are received to meet all 1099 requirements. * Receives, processes, and verifies all ancillary invoices as received by the billing specialist - ensuring all ancillary expenses are processed monthly * Receives, processes, and verifies all required monthly expenses are booked for facilities assigned. i.e. utilities and any monthly services received by each facility. * Provides accounting assistance to the AP Director as well as the team of controllers in month end reconciliation of direct payments processed thru ACH or by credit card. * Takes an active role in the training of any individuals that are involved with the AP process either at the corporate office or at the facility. The Nurse Assistant in Training (NAIT) is a temporary position that exists to prepare NAITs to successfully pass the Minnesota nursing assistant competency exam. NAITs must be actively enrolled in a Minnesota MDH Nursing Assistant Registry-approved nursing assistant training course at the time of hire. Upon completion of the course, the NAIT will take and pass the competency exam within 4 months of hire at which time the NAIT will apply internally for the open CNA position at the facility of their choosing. The student is allowed three chances to pass both the written and skills portion of the exam. A new training program must be completed if the student fails to pass by the third attempt. As an NAIT, you will be responsible for most duties of a certified nursing aide (CNA) as officially deemed competent through in part, completion of at least 16 hours of training in core areas. The ADON oversees, facilitates, and manages occupational health and staff development functions within the facility alongside and in the absence of a Clinical Educator. The occupational health element of this position includes infection control, coordinating all elements of the employee injury management process, health care worker health programs and resident/employee safety. The RA performs the same duties as the CNA in the Assisted Living Communities with exception of having the ability to assist tenants to take medication that is set up in their apartment and give scheduled and PRN medication under direction of the RN.
