NON LEAD Inspector
Perform boat inspector and decontaminator responsibilities according to state regulations and standard protocols at Limon Port of Entry near Limon, Colorado. Work will either be completed independently or in pairs to inspect boats entering the State of Colorado with respect to invasive species such as zebra/quagga mussels. Provide public outreach
on the aquatic invasive species topic by providing printed material to those visiting or returning to Colorado. The position will report directly to the inspection station. Boat inspection training will be provided. Early morning, evening & weekend work required.
Lead Inspector:
Perform boat inspector and decontaminator responsibilities according to state regulations and standard at Limon Port of Entry at Limon, Colorado. Site lead boat inspector will be responsible for providing on the job training to inspection staff, create schedules and make sure all shifts are covered during operational hours, collect and verify accurate time
keeping records for payroll purposes, work with area work lead to resolve challenges with staff and customers, and recommend hiring/firing of employees to area work lead. Additional responsibilities include ensuring inspection station staff are following standardized protocols by performing quality control assessments on a monthly basis,
ensure that data entry is being performed accurately and completely by all inspection station staff, maintain inventory of all required supplies, perform basic maintenance & troubleshooting on power washer/decontamination unit, and provide public outreach on aquatic invasive species. Early morning, evening, and weekend work is required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Pursuant to the DNR-120 Fleet and Driving Standards Administrative Directive, any worker who will be expected to drive a State-owned vehicle is responsible for maintaining a safe driving record and a valid driver license prior to driving any State-owned vehicle.
To be compliant with the new fleet vehicle policy, Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) will be pulled for review for workers who:
* Have an assigned State fleet vehicle
* Are required to operate a vehicle as part of the position

Examples of Essential Duties
* Oversees the inspection of and/or conducts routine inspections of Above Ground (AST) and Underground (UST) tank systems for heating oil, diesel fuel, and gasoline, according to State regulations.
* Oversees and maintains accurate records of inspections, testing, and repairs.
* Maintains a replacement matrix for tanks and system components.
* Maintains and repairs oil water separator systems.
* Oversees the inspection of and/or inspects buildings for mold, asbestos and lead material.
* Oversees the collection of samples of suspected mold, asbestos, lead paint, and water testing. Analyzes the test results for these substances.
* Conducts inspections of County-owned buildings and grounds where repair, renovation or major installation work is performed.
* Makes inspections of roofing, painting, concrete, electrical, spouting, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning work done by County maintenance workers and private contractors.
* Inspects work while in progress and upon completion.
* Meets with representatives of County agencies to determine work to be done, discuss any changes to work plans, and suggest possible alternative procedures.
* Obtains cost estimates from vendors and sets up follow-up appointments. Orders supplies and materials.
* Ensures timely submittal, processing and payment of invoices.
* Visits job sites to ensure timely completion of projects. Maintains records of labor hours and materials used to complete projects. Prepares other related inspection reports.
* Attends pre-bid, pre-construction, and progress meetings.
* Ensures that contractors meet predetermined schedules and deadlines

Non-Lead Inspector:
Perform boat inspector and decontaminator responsibilities according to state regulations and standard protocols at Lake San Cristobal near Lake City, Colorado. Work will either be completed independently or in pairs to inspect boats launching and leaving the lake, with respect to invasive species such as zebra/quagga mussels. Provide public outreach on the aquatic invasive species topic by providing printed material to those visiting the lake. The position will report directly to the boat ramp. Boat inspection training will be provided. Early morning, evening, weekend and holiday work required.
Lead Inspector:
Perform boat inspector and decontaminator responsibilities according to state regulations and standard protocols at Lake San Cristobal. Ramp lead boat inspector will be responsible for providing on the job training to inspection staff, create schedules and make sure all shifts are covered during operational hours, collect and verify accurate time
keeping records for payroll purposes, maintain inventory of all required supplies, and assist with interviewing candidates for employment. Additional responsibilities include working with supervisor to resolve challenges with staff and customers, ensuring inspection station staff are following standardized protocols, ensuring that data entry is
being performed accurately and completely by all inspection station staff, performing basic maintenance & troubleshooting on power washer/decontamination unit, and providing public outreach on aquatic invasive species.
Early morning, evening, weekend, and holiday work is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform field and on-site laboratory tests on soil, geosynthetics, aggregates, and other materials primarily associated with landfill and/or waste containment system construction;
Monitor contractor activities on job sites to ensure compliance with relevant contract documents (e.g., technical specifications, construction drawings, sampling plans, CQA plans etc.);
Provide CQA observation and monitoring on several types of construction and/or environmental activities on enviro-civil construction sites;
Perform multi-media sampling in support of investigations, monitoring programs, and other data collection centric projects.
Prepare daily and weekly field reports, construction schedules & progress reports;
Ensure project documentation is correct and consistent with company policy & procedures;
Interact with project personnel (contractors, project managers, engineers & clients) and assist in cultivating an integrated team approach through open lines of communications and participation;
Assist in the preparation of the final data packages, health and safety documents, and the assembly of report appendices;
Observe and abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the site-specific project health and safety plans and the company's Environmental Health and Safety Management policies and procedures; and

troubleshooting on power washer/decontamination unit, and provide public outreach on aquatic invasive species.
Early morning, evening, and weekend work is required.
As a Limited Commission Ranger, duties may include, but are not limited to:
Enforce Colorado Parks and Wildlife rules and regulations and issue citations for violations.
Resolve visitor complaints and conflicts.
Complete reports and may be required to appear in court.
Answer questions regarding aquatic invasive species.
Other duties as assigned.BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
* Must be 21 years of age or older.
* Must have a current & valid driver's license required for operating a state vehicle and acceptable driving record (will be verified as part of comprehensive background check process).
