The Role:
We are looking to bring on a QA Engineer I with experience in manual application testing. In this role, you'll work with the QA team to plan and execute tests in a fast-paced, agile team. Familiarity with Python is a plus, but we trust that you'll be motivated to dive in and get your hands on it once you join the team. What You'll Test:
Your work will have an immediate impact on millions of users - you will have the opportunity to work on different parts of the platform, including but not limited to payment gateways, live chats, and video streaming technology, which are supported across all major web browsers, mobile devices, smart TVs, and video consoles. You'll also be assuring quality for the systems and services on the platform to enable broadcasters to interact with users in a fun and interactive environment.
You Will:
Write test cases for manual testing, and test them with others on the QA team simultaneously
Review code changes to understand what needs to be tested
Be self-driven to pick up the skills necessary to keep up with technology changes
Identify opportunities for testing tools and implementing those ideas
Requirements

Experience with white box testing
You've written test cases independently
You're experienced with determining scope functionality for a variety of projects
You are self-motivated to learn new technologies
You're a go-getter who isn't afraid to break things
Troubleshooting user issues is something you're familiar with

The Base Salary range for this position is $90,000 - $115,000 annually. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. What we're looking for:

Experience in following best practices in writing reliable and maintainable code that may be used by many other engineers
Ability to keep up-to-date with new technologies to understand what should be incorporated

The Core Retrieval Infrastructure team is responsible for building and maintaining the large-scale, high-performance retrieval (search) platforms that power recommendations on Pinterest. The Product Quality Assurance Engineer will lead efforts to ensure Eko's products are designed and developed is in compliance with procedures and industry standards, regulations and best practices.
In this role the Product Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for following and maintaining our Quality Management System processes to support the development of products in compliance with international and US medical device regulations.
