Description of Work The clinical dietitian provides assessment of nutritional status and makes recommendations for nutritional needs. The clinical dietitian directs the development and implementation of a nutritional plan of care; counsels' patients in the guidelines, acceptance and selection of foods needed to meet nutritional goals; and counsel's family and/or caregivers. The clinical dietitian will monitor progress and reassess as indicated to provide for long term care when needed. Position serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary treatment team and as a consultant for other staff due to nutritional knowledge and acts as a liaison between area of assignment, medical staff, and nutritional services department. Working hours will be Monday thru Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, on call rotating weekends.
