    Warde Senior Living in Windham, NH is hiring a full-time Dietary Aide to join our Culinary Services team. This role includes an every-other-weekend commitment. Join our excellent team of professionals to help meet the medical, social and spiritual needs of the people we serve. Warde Senior Living in Windham, NH, is currently a 39-bed Assisted Living community and a 32-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs. We also have 21 brand new independent living apartments that provide an affordable living option to our community. Full Time Benefits; Outstanding medical, dental, and vision coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) reimbursing most out-of-pocket healthcare costs Earn $2,400/year extra if enrolled in another employer-sponsored health plan Company-paid short-term disability and life insurance Optional critical illness, accident, long-term disability, legal plan, and pet insurance Flexible Spending Account (FSA) 401(k) with 3% automatic employer contribution after 1 year Dietary Aide Job Responsibilities; • Assist in serving meals that are palatable, appetizing and on a timely basis in accordance with current menu, following time and temperature standards • Set up meal trays, food carts, dining room • Serve food in accordance to current diet, texture and liquid consistency orders; follow established portion control procedures • Assist in checking resident meals or trays before distribution • Deliver food carts, trays and other items to designated area • Remove soiled carts and dishes from dining area upon completion of meal service • Wash dishes, utensils, pots and pans; return clean items to proper storage areas and ensure that they are ready for use for next meal Requirements High School Diploma or GED preferred, or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position Food service experience preferred but on-the-job training is available Must be able to read, write and speak English All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age or mental or physical handicap.

This is a full-time, position with competitive rates starting at $17/hr upto $26/hr based on experience. Evening and weekend shifts receive a shift differential, and weekend shifts are required. You must be at least 16 years of age to apply for this position. We are offering a $3,000 sign-on/retention bonus for this position. *The bonus is available for external hires only (or current D-H employees moving to a 30 - 40 hour per week position from a per diem role) and certain conditions apply. Prints special nourishment labels and lists for Production. Prints and checks menus and tray tickets following specific instructions regarding patient nutritional care. Checks patient tray line by comparing patient menu selections with tray items. Requests that the Diet Office make appropriate therapeutic substitutions. Answers phone and voice messages using telephone log sheet to record all messages. Processes requests as established within clinical policies and procedures. Counts and records diet census and tube feeding orders. Makes note of patient choices, correcting as necessary using computer-generated reports. Prints and distributes tally reports. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Qualifications High school diploma (or GED) strongly preferred. 1 year of related dietary experience preferred.
