A successful candidate will bring a minimum of five years of industrial or factory experience as a controls/instrumentation technician, along with hands-on expertise in power installation, control circuit wiring, troubleshooting of control and power systems, and electrical safety practices. Proficiency with PLCs and VFDs?including Allen Bradley and Siemens equipment?programming and troubleshooting is expected, as well as experience creating electrical schematics and wiring drawings using CAD, EPlan, or Solid Edge. Candidates should also be skilled in system sizing (conductors, conduits, motor and control circuits, overcurrent protection) and capable of designing and calculating systems in accordance with NEC and industry standards.
