Job DescriptionThe Organization
North Los Angeles County Regional Center “NLACRC” is a private, non-profit agency that is contracted with the State of California, Department of Developmental Services, to provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. NLACRC is one of the largest regional centers in California and has proudly served the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Antelope Valley since 1974. We serve individuals across the lifespan from infants and toddlers, school age children, transition-age youth, to adults and aging adults.
Department: Consumer ServicesSupervisor - Adult 6 (San Fernando Valley)
SCOPE: Responsible for ensuring delivery of quality information and services in assigned unit.
SUPERVISION: Receives supervision from the Consumer Services Director, provides general supervision to Service Coordinators, Service Coordinator Associates, Secretaries and other assigned staff.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (These are examples of the types of duties that may be performed. Additional duties may be added.)
1. Assigns, reviews and approves work of unit staff members. Advises staff on resolution of complex service issues.
2. Represents the unit and/or company in dealings with service providers, other community and governmental agencies, community groups.
3. Hires, trains, directs, and evaluates unit staff.
4. Provides intra- and inter-departmental leadership in service planning and provision, participates in company management team, may serve as staff support for Board of Trustees' committees and may be assigned to serve as senior staff in supervisor's absence.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge: Developmental disabilities; Regional center (or related company) practices; Computer usage; Management and supervisory principles and practices. Experience with the legal system and related forensic issues, developmental centers, and dual diagnoses inclusive of mental health services/resources preferred.
Skills: Decision making; Analysis of complex material; experience with database software; Oral and written presentation; Clear communication of complex material; Staff development and leadership; Working effectively with diverse groups of people.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field or in a related field
Five years of Regional Center experience
Or
Master's Degree in psychology, social work, sociology, or related human services field or in a related field
Two years of related professional/leadership experience
Or
Master's Degree in an unrelated field
Three to five years of related professional/leadership experience
Three years of professional experience should include service coordination at a Regional Center or related experiences
Previous experience with mental health/dual diagnosis, crisis intervention, and knowledge of forensic/judicial systems, diversion, probation, etc. highly preferred.
A valid CDL and transportation, or acceptable substitute, required for this position.

COMPENSATION:

SUPERVISION: Works under the supervision of the Senior Manager Facilities Services and Records Management. Provides supervision to support staff (Office Assistants).

1. Provides leadership in accordance with the Agency's mission, vision and core values.
2. Administration of the Document Management Application.
3. Oversees all aspects of the Records and Document Management Department. Proper oversight of the scanned document quality within the organization.
4. Review scanned materials for quality and proper categorization - adjusting as necessary.
5. Implementation of processes and procedures to adhere to the laws and regulations in relation to Privacy Compliance.
6. Oversee the equitable assigning of tasks and the completion of the daily work by the support staff.
7. Assigns, reviews, approves the work of unit staff members, addresses performance concerns, hires, trains, directs, and evaluates unit staff.
8. Produce and maintain reports, correspondence, and various tracking logs as needed.
9. Design, create and implement any new process changes for special projects and new requirements as needed.
10. Collaborates and coordinates with a variety of departments including but not limited to: Case Management, Office Services, Community Services and Accounting.
11. Other managerial tasks as needed.
EMPLOYMENT GUIDELINES
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to manage time and prioritize workflow, highly motivated and deadline driven
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing organizational and business issues is required
Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with other departments throughout the organization
Ability to interpret and explain written data to a wide range of audiences. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High standard of attention to detail
Intermediate MS Office skills to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Access
Experience in utilizing a document management application
Supervision of staff preferred
Education and Experience:
Minimum five (5) years of experience performing administration, troubleshooting or support of business systems or applications.
Minimum two (2) years' experience in a supervisory position required or
Five (5) years of managing special assignments and projects can be substituted for supervisory experience.
A valid California Driver's License or acceptable substitute is required for this position.

Position SummaryThe Director of Treatment Options will provide leadership, administrative oversight, and programmatic supervision for GLIDE's Contingency Management (CM) Program and MOUD (Medications for Opioid Use Disorder)/MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) Navigation Program as well as other treatment services and resources for clients seeking support for their substance use. Treatment options target populations identified as most at-risk and/or who The Director will develop, implement, and maintain a robust referral coordination, triage, and assessment process that coordinates care for clients based on their SUD needs. GLIDE's CM program is an evidence-based treatment that uses incentives to encourage positive behavioral changes related to substance use, particularly stimulants. This program will offer three groups weekly, individual check-ins, drop-in hours available for clients, and clients will receive financial incentives for UAs negative for stimulant use as well as other psychosocial goals as defined by the client in collaboration with GLIDE. GLIDE's MOUD/MAT Navigation Treatment Program supports clients who desire to begin and/or are using medicated assisted treatment with adherence. In addition, the program provides case management to improve health and life outcomes for clients and counseling support to reduce harmful behaviors. This position will oversee the successful implementation of these programs, oversee treatment health education and outreach efforts, and implement additional treatment options through expanded partnerships and resources.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain database records in keeping with Salvation Army and HIPPA standards, including computer and written files.
Follow mandated reporting procedures, as required by local law enforcement and/or protective agencies as well as the Salvation Army's internal reporting processes and adhere to The Salvation Army's National Social Services Standards
Promote services with other agencies and general community.
Oversee client-based programs, appointments, and case management services with staff or independently.

Direct supervision of a Custodial Supervisor and management oversight of a team of approximately 22 custodial staff.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met across public, exhibit, and back-of-house areas.
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, supply inventory systems, and staffing plans.
Coordinate special cleaning projects and exhibit turnovers in collaboration with internal departments.
Support the Academy's environmental goals by promoting green cleaning practices, reducing waste, and researching and suggesting new and updated operational practices.
Grounds and Living Roof Maintenance (Vendor Coordination)
Manages the Academy's Landscape Supervisor
Serve as the primary Academy contact for the contracted landscape maintenance provider, which manages all day-to-day landscape and living roof maintenance.
Oversee the vendor's work on all exterior landscaped areas, including the living roof, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and alignment with institutional priorities.
Conduct site inspections and coordinate timely resolution of issues.
Collaborate with multiple Academy teams to support biodiversity, native planting, new exhibits, and environmental initiatives.
Support and coordinate volunteer activities related to the living roof and grounds, including preparation, logistics, and safety protocols.
Mailroom and Loading Dock Oversight
Supervise two mailroom staff members responsible for internal and external mail/package distribution.
Ensure efficient and secure handling of incoming and outgoing deliveries.
Coordinate access of the loading dock for vendor deliveries, waste removal, and institutional logistics.
Provide operational support for after-hours and weekend activities as needed.
Maintenance oversight of all Academy copy machines
Office Space and Event Support
Oversee internal office furniture moves, workstation adjustments, and minor space layout changes.
Coordinate and supervise event furniture and equipment setups and teardowns for internal meetings, public programs, and rental events.
Maintain inventory of event and move-related materials and ensure readiness for institutional use.
Work closely with multiple Academy departments to ensure alignment with program needs and timelines.
Additional Responsibilities
Hire, train, and supervise team members to foster a culture of service, safety, and accountability.
Develop and manage operating budgets for custodial, support services, and supplies.
Maintain records of work orders, service metrics, and vendor communications.
Ensure compliance with institutional safety procedures, including OSHA standards, hazardous materials handling, and ergonomic guidelines.
Participate in emergency response planning and inclement weather protocols.
Work with the Academy's volunteer and community engagement teams to support public participation in grounds-related activities.
Monitor and assign work requests through the Academy's CMMS (Limble), ensuring timely response, resolution, and accurate documentation of service delivery.
Maintain strong working relationships with all departments across the Academy to deliver superior operational support.

EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION:
Required
Strong management experience with a minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities services, custodial, grounds, in a museum, university, public institution, or similarly complex environment.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams and manage cross-functional service operations.
Experience coordinating vendor contracts and holding external providers accountable for quality and performance.
Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, make decisions in a fast-paced environment, and respond to evening and weekend operational needs.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience working in a cultural, scientific, or educational institution.
Familiarity with living roof systems, sustainable landscape practices, and native planting.
Proficiency with CMMS and work order tracking systems.
Bilingual English/Spanish or Cantonese a plus

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $115,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the final candidate's qualifications and experience, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, certifications and aligned with the internal peer group. As a member of the Property Management team, the Regional Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that each property meets A Community of Friends (ACOF) goals and objectives as well as company procedures and standards through the supervision of all areas of management. This includes managing the financial health, physical appearance, and maintenance of the properties, as well as maintaining program and government compliance and tenant relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for the overall operations of assigned properties, ensuring portfolio performance based on established goals and benchmarks in alignment with the Property Management manual.
Make sure buildings (common areas and units) are regularly maintained and kept habitable (safe, secure, and clean condition).
Conduct annual inspections and make sure all other company-mandated inspections are conducted.

Business Management:

Take steps necessary to ensure all certifications/re-certifications are completed annually.
Maintain up-to-date information on affordable housing occupancy and compliance programs, and disseminate updated information to staff.
Generate and analyze various reports including financial statements, vacancy, variance reports, and other identified reports to track the building's performance.
Compile and submit required reports to the asset management department and regulatory agencies and/or agency designees.
Manage regulatory compliance in accordance with loan documents and regulatory agreements.
Coordinate new building lease up and establish compliance system including applicant (lottery) system, marketing tools, waitlist binder (non-CES units), mock tenant file, fair housing, and other compliance tools.
Develop and implement procedures to safeguard tenants' private, medical, and personal identifying information.
Collaborate with Asset Management to develop building budgets.
