This person will support one Financial Advisor (Registered Representatives) with running their day-to-day Investment practice while enhancing the customer service level and experience. This person works directly with the Registered Representative(s) to prepare and process client paperwork, perform client financial transactions, maintain client relationships, schedule appointments, and communicate with clients and financial companies. This role can also be the first step of the career pathing program to future opportunities that require industry experience and licenses (Insurance, FINRA Series 7, & 66 or 63/65 combo).
The office is located in Minnetonka and the expectation is they go into the office every day.
What You Will Do:
Act as a liaison between the registered representatives and their clients.
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and prepare materials for client meetings.
Aid registered representatives in preparing client illustrations, graphs, charts, reports, etc. for registered representative presentations and appointment with clients.
Prepare and complete client paperwork and follow up tasks to support registered representative.
Spend time with clients on the phone, via virtual visits and in person to ensure client service level needs are met.
Organize client events and follow up tasks.
Maintain client records and retention management within corporate requirements.
Conduct proactive outreach to clients and registered representatives on time sensitive activities (e.g., RMDs, Client's Quarterly/Annual Reviews).
Assume ownership of inquiries and requests; communicate with internal Cetera departments to ensure clients' expectations for timely service delivery are met.
Educate clients on account services, capabilities, and new technology.
Complete required corporate training on new technologies and follow implementation guidelines.
Maintain compliance guidelines, client communication notes in AdviceWorks/SmartWorks and Redtail while following Cetera standards in a timely manner.
Work with Advisor(s) through weekly meetings to help maintain Advisors Business Plan process, tasks, marketing, and client communication expectations and follow up processes.
What You Will Have:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience in an administrative or customer service role
Strong time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and ability to learn new programs
What is Nice to Have:
Previous experience in assisting Registered Representatives/Financial Advisors
Financial services and/or banking background
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or Communications
Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, ability to multi-task and produce timely results in a fast-paced work environment

Compensation:
This is a non-exempt hourly role that ranges from $25-$31/ hr., plus competitive performance-based compensation package. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.

Completes retail and correspondent mortgage boarding for all locations
Input sold participations for Secondary Market mortgage portfolio (sold to Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac)
Place loans in non-accrual and charge-off on Signature system and prepare accounting histories and payoff statements, when requested
Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) processing and tracking
Manages credit bureau reporting, monitoring of error reports and resolution of disputes, as required by Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
Completes monthly Federal Housing Association (FHA), Veterans Administration (VA), Rural Economic Development, and Agriculture Best Management Practices Loan Program (AgBMP) reporting
Emphasis: Secondary Market Servicing:

Annually inquires with each State/County on status of taxes paid for all non-escrow customers with appropriate notification per established pro cedures
Ongoing follow-up with insurance agents to obtain initial insurance policies for credit file as required by secondary market and errors & omissions policy
Verification of adequate coverage and importing of all insurance policies to electronic storage
Provide annual escrow statements, including statements for modified loans, that require a longer timeframe for the spread of any shortage and/or deficiencies

Maintain, manage, and track all pending and outstanding loan documents, resolve exceptions and ensure that any missing or incorrect information is identified and promptly corrected
Ensure collateral recording information is secure and maintained in the core banking system
Monitor, maintain and update rate and payment change records as required. Send adjustment notices to customers and respond to any customer inquiries or concerns. May manually calculate daily interest rate and per diem rate for customer/lender/attorney.
Review various reports to clear system errors and update loans as needed
Research and resolve servicing issues in support of loan officers and customers within the scope of authority and expertise. Perform complex transactions, and loan payments, including but not limited to recalculating principal, interest and other payment information for accounts and performing escrow as necessary.
Monitor real estate taxes, flood & hazard insurance, and other charges on secured properties
Instruct vendors to impose forced-placed insurance coverage on acquired properties, ensure proper coverage, and pay premiums.
Process commercial mortgage, commercial loan, and construction loan payoff requests from internal and external customers
Prepare paid off documentation for the customer and/or attorney, releasing collateral liens
Review various daily monitoring reports to ensure payments were processed correctly.
Adhere to timelines and deadlines established based on client needs and department workflow.

Maintains report for Residential loans with flood insurance, ensures that coverage is adequate and in force for the life of the loan.
Responsible for the timely payments of real estate taxes for both Residential & Commercial loans. Works closely with Tax Service to maintain current data on their system and ours.
Assists with reviewing the periodic escrow disclosure notices and handles customer calls on the annual escrow analysis results.
Processes re-amortization schedules, as a result of substantial principal curtailments.
Works with the vendor to force place hazard or flood insurance when needed.
Responsible for the payment of PMI premiums, escrowed hazard & flood insurance premiums to the third-party vendor.
Monitors and maintains monthly rate changes for Adjustable Rate Mortgages. Sends notices to borrowers and responds to customer inquiries.
Prepares regular and confirmatory mortgage discharges and related correspondence for paid loans to attorneys and/or borrowers.
Performs monetary and non-monetary maintenance on covered loans under dual control.
Performs any function within scope of authority and expertise to support department goals, as assigned by the manager.
Handles a variety of internal and external residential loanservicing calls.
Receives incoming wires for loans purchased and prepares a funding sheet for manager's approval. Processes loan transfer transactions on Core Processor, on MERS and on People Soft. Ensures that the Transfer of Servicing letters are mailed to Borrowers.
Prepares outgoing wires for Investor remittances, funding of new loans and payment of real estate taxes via CoreLogic.
May serve as the Receptionist for the Residential Lending area.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with investor reporting experience is preferred.
1-3 years of experience in Residential Lending preferred.
Associates degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
Must be detailed, organized and customer service oriented.
Should possess intermediate technology skills, including knowledge of Word & Excel, and working with a core processor.

Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid option to allow for occasional remote work, primarily working out of the Mankato or Rochester, MN office locations.
The contributions you will make:
Facilitates the client journey through the processing of new PCA loans, including all aspects of product delivery before, during and after closing. Serves as a client point of contact, establishing strong relationships through exceptional levels of service. Maintains a high degree of accountability throughout the loan life cycle, including aggregating and organizing all loan documentation, retaining accurate and complete electronic files, completing loan due diligence tasks, preparing loans for booking and completing post-close activities.
A typical day:
Loan Processing and Client Service
Serves as a client point of contact, establishing strong relationships through exceptional and consistent service. Proactively identifies client needs and resolves a variety of requests via phone, online and in-person to ensure a positive and consistent experience.
Collaborates with the Sales Team across all Compeer locations to obtain pre-qualification information, including gathering prospect or client information (e.g. drivers' licenses, financials, information pertaining to scope of operations, and entity documentation) necessary to qualify a loan opportunity. Works proactively with Sales across regions in order to meet tight deadlines.
Prepares accurate operating and term loan documents for new loans, from the point of loan application through loan finalizing to include monitoring of closing conditions, ensuring accuracy.
Serves as the Deal Champion on all submitted loans by having a broad working knowledge of Association processes and policy.
Assists in following Territorial Concurrence procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Ensures accuracy of loan pricing and fees and document any exception approvals; prepares rate lock agreement and monitor closing deadlines.
Completes loan verification requirements related to loan documents, reviews entity and trust documentation and ensures compliance with applicable regulations. Partners with respective parties to ensure loan conditions are satisfied.
Provides back up support to office location, as needed, in order to meet client needs. This includes but is not limited to coverage during business hours.
Post-Closing Activities
Approves money movement and books loans.
Uses thorough understanding of chattel collateral, following up on UCC terminations or other lien releases, obtaining vehicle titles, and ensuring first lien position.
Obtains assignment of indemnity as required for insurance.
Maintains accuracy of the chattel tracking system and coordinate with teammates to enhance the client experience.
Maintains understanding of and ensures compliance with all regulations and procedures associated with loan closing.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
High school diploma or GED.
Entry-level experience in loan processing or similar role.
Demonstrated understanding of collateral and perfecting liens.
Keen eye for detail, which ensures accuracy and compliance in all loan documentation and processing steps.
Strong communication skills and ability to effectively serve as a liaison between internal and external parties.
Proficient in Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn/use new systems (e.g. loan origination), applications and other related technology products.

Position Overview:
