Job Title: Non-Invasive Cardiologist

Job Responsibilities:
Provide patient care in an outpatient non-invasive cardiology clinic, including new and follow-up patients.
Participate in inpatient cardiology rounding and non-invasive cardiology call rotation.
Conduct consultations and recommend diagnostic tests for patients with cardiovascular disorders.
Perform echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, electrical cardioversions, and other procedures.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and superior patient service.
Manage cardiology call coverage and respond to emergent cardiac cases as needed.
Work with APPs for rounding and stress tests and oversee cardiac rehabilitation when necessary.
Contribute to a busy structural heart program and utilize advanced cardiac imaging modalities.
Qualifications:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (required).
Willingness to travel across multiple sites including Robbinsdale and Maple Grove.
Experience with CT training (highly preferred).
Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
License and Certification Requirements:
Active MN medical license (or willingness to obtain).
ACLS certification (required before start).
DEA confirmation by time of start.

Provides operational leadership to support patient and family-centered care model.
Responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the department.
Provides leadership, coordination, direction and support of the department, hospital and CentraCare system goals and objectives.
Functions as a role model and supports an environment conducive to positive and collaborative relationships with all internal and external customers.
Responsible for the recruitment, retention and development of qualified staff, which may include interviewing, hiring, monitoring performance and addressing corrective action of team members. Conducts mid-year check-ins and performance appraisals for team members focusing on developmental opportunities.
Supports, implements patient safety, and other safety practices as appropriate.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure to practice in the State of Minnesota required.
Oncology Certified Nurse at time of hire or must be obtained within 2 years of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required.
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with nursing expertise in the area of Medical Oncology.
Progressive leadership experience.
Possesses verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, patients/families, and community resources.
Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, leading and engaging staff towards positive change preferred.
