Job Opportunity: Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Robbinsdale, MN

Job Responsibilities:
Provide full-time (1.0 FTE) or part-time (0.8 FTE) patient care in outpatient non-invasive cardiology clinics.
Travel to various locations including Robbinsdale, Maple Grove, and outreach sites to see new and follow-up patients.
Participate in inpatient cardiology rounding service and non-invasive cardiology call rotation.
Conduct readings of rest/stress echoes and nuclear studies; perform TEEs and cardioversions.
Consult with patients and their families to determine appropriate treatment plans.
Collaborate with healthcare management teams to ensure continuity of care.
Perform general cardiology duties including cardiology call coverage and responding to emergent cardiac cases.
Supervise APPs during rounding and cardiac rehab stress tests as needed.
Treat a wide range of heart and vascular disorders using full spectrum cardiac imaging modalities.
Qualifications:
Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility) or Board Certified in Cardiology.
Current Minnesota medical license or willingness to obtain one.
DEA verification prior to the start date.
ACLS certification (required prior to start).
CT training is highly preferred.
Ability to travel to all clinic locations.
Interest in full-time (1.0 FTE) or part-time (0.8 FTE) employment.
License and Certification Requirements:
Valid Minnesota Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
DEA Certification (confirmation required at start).
ACLS Certification required prior to commencement.

This position is located at MidSota in St. Cloud. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified MedicalAssistant (CMA) is an integral member of the Coordinated Care Clinic's multidisciplinary team. This role is responsible for patient rooming, performing laboratory draws and EKGs, and communicating test results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers. The LPN or CMA supports the efficient day-to-day operations of the clinic, assists providers with patient care, and ensures accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Additional responsibilities include telephone triage and information gathering for communication to the RN or provider, administration of medications and immunizations as directed, and recognizing patient abnormalities or urgent care needs and seeking appropriate assistance.
Schedule:
Full-time | 80 hours every two weeks
Days | 8-hour shifts | 7:30am-4pm |
No weekends or major holidays
Pay and Benefits:
LPN starting pay begins at $22.40 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Pay range: $22.40 - $33.58 per hour
CMA starting pay begins at $20.71 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
Pay range: $20.71 - $31.06 per hour
$2,500 hiring bonus for LPN, $2,000 hiring bonus for CMA!

Qualifications:
LPN
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider cared required per established policy
CMA/RMA
Graduate of an accredited MedicalAssistant program
Current Certified MedicalAssistant (CMA) or Registered MedicalAssistant (RMA) with one of the following:
American Association of MedicalAssistants (AAMA)
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
NCMA through National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
American Registry of MedicalAssistants (ARMA)
Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider cared required per established policy
To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full-time or part-time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
