Summary/Objective:
provides
clerical/para-professional accounting support required for maintenance of accurate financial
records and correct processing of financial transactions. Prepares, processes and maintains
accounting records and summarizes business and financial transactions. Reviews source
documents for accuracy and completeness and ensures that all transactions are properly
documented.
Essential Functions:
Performs a variety of paraprofessional accounting functions required to ensure the accurate
processing of all financial transactions and proper accounting for all funds received and disbursed
by the agency.
Maintains and reconciles subsidiary and control accounts.
Create and/or processes budget adjustments, and journal entries.
Reviews source documentation to ensure that payables and/or receivables transactions comply
with all substantive and procedural requirements, are accurately calculated and properly
authorized, and allocated to the proper fund and cost center.
Develops and maintains a variety of databases and/or spreadsheets.
Contacts departments of origin to resolve documentation problems and/or problems with respect to proper
authorization for disbursement and/or collection of funds.
Audits and verifies requests for disbursement of Agency funds, including vendor invoices,
recurring bills, employee reimbursement requests, and transfers of funds to the state, ensuring that
expenses are allowable, properly authorized, and charged to proper accounts.
Inputs payables data for verified transactions; for accounts payable checks on a daily, weekly, and
monthly basis; and assists in balancing check runs.
Receives and credits payments to appropriate billing accounts and to appropriate funds and cost centers.
Verifies all cash, check, echeck and credit card transactions from all payment sites, balances
against the daily cash reports and updates the cash receipt ledger.
Prepares and reconciles daily deposit of payments received by mail, in person, on the WEB, and through
EFT and ACH transactions.
Prepares deposits for the Bank.
Liaise with internal staff at all levels.
Coordinate and complete project-based work.
Review clerical practices and implement improvements where necessary.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate large-capacity AR coating machines. Perform daily and weekly maintenance of the vacuum coating chambers and equipment involved in the AR coating process. Keep a current and accurate log of all processes and maintenance for the machines.
Perform all aspects of operation of the AR Coaters, including:
Clean machine and make ready for operation.
Inspect each lens for accuracy and any other defects present on lens surface. Log all scratches or other conditions found.
Place lenses into appropriate tooling based on lens diameter and shape.
Load lenses into AR coating machine and select correct recipe and chemicals for each different AR coating process.
Perform all necessary parts change-outs and other maintenance items in a timely manner.
Perform necessary quality testing on finished product.
Perform final inspection on all batch coated lenses and ensure adherence to the cosmetic standards. Verify performance of coating runs and ensure coating meets desired specification.
Perform troubleshooting of machine/equipment problems and work with supervisor to resolve issues.
Pack completed work.
Review rejected lenses and re-work or assign proper breakage codes.
Sandblast machine parts as needed.
Follow standard procedures while continually evaluating opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to improve processes to simplify jobs, eliminate non-value-added tasks and reduce costs.
Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to ensure understanding and the proper application of company policies, practices and procedures.
Actively participate and engage in continuous improvement processes
Maintain work area and common areas of department in a neat, clean, and organized condition.

The Specialist is responsible for the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and evaluation of information systems as they relate to pharmacy. The Specialist supports ongoing activities and analyzes future needs for Pharmacy Information Systems; analyzes data and compiles meaningful reports for pharmacy management; and works collaboratively with pharmacists and technicians, pharmacy leaders, interdisciplinary teams and committees, IT staff, and the organization in improving information for decision-making.
Requirements
Education
* Graduate from an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. required. Pharm. D. degree is preferred.
* Completion of a Pharmacy Residency Program preferred.
* Degree or training in information technology preferred.
Experience
* Advanced PC applications and operations skills required (i.e. Database, Spreadsheet applications/software)
* Ability to seek creative solutions, and possessing initiative and decisiveness
* Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written presentation.

Collaborate with Purchasing leadership, and representative business leaders, to identify, validate, and organize the material that should be sold through e-commerce platforms.

Work with warehouse leadership to confirm stock locations, condition, and quantity of material to be sold.

Perform basic purchasing duties as the Primary Buyer assigned to a set number of electrical suppliers.

Update purchase order confirmation due dates to aid in supplier performance review as well as catch late deliveries that will impact production.
