The WarehouseAssociate - Turret Truck Driver will retrieve stock to fill customer orders, fulfill and process orders, accept incoming/outgoing shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. This role is located in Bay Shore, NY and requires 2nd shift hours of 4pm - 1am.
Responsibilities:
Enforce Company safety, health, and environmental policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
Operate material handling equipment safely, primarily using a Turret Truck/High Reach Forklift.
Store and retrieve palletized units from high racks (18ft-30ft).
Process orders using warehouse management systems and computerized inventory tools.
Load, stage, and transfer materials efficiently and accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment.
Support team operations by assisting in other warehouse areas as needed.
Perform general warehouse tasks: loading/unloading, wrapping, processing, etc.
Work flexible overtime and weekends as required.
Additional Responsibilities:
Proficient in operating various equipment: hand trucks, pallet jacks, stand-up/sit-down forklifts, order pickers, Bendi, and Turret Trucks.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
With Little or No Supervision and Direction:
Is knowledgeable of materials and material locations.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Inventory Cycle Counter to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will help ensure accurate inventory records by analyzing transactions, identifying discrepancies, and supporting efficient material flow across our distribution operations.
Shift Time: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
In This Role
Analyze inventory transactions and material flow to identify and resolve discrepancies
Follow processes for inventory cycle counts to ensure accurate records
Conduct daily inventory checks and physical inventories to keep product tracking up-to-date
Troubleshoot and quickly resolve inventory discrepancies to minimize disruptions
Calculate rates, ratios, and percentages, and interpret graphs to help make data-driven decisions
Reconcile inventory variances using spreadsheet to ensure precise inventory management
Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols and company policies
Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person
2+ years of experience with inventory control in a warehouse setting
Raymond order picker experience required
High school diploma or GED required
Proficient with computers, including Excel and ERP systems
Strong math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in various units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and maneuver items up to 225 lbs with assistance
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Steel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours

Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably a warehouse or distribution environment strongly preferred.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using handheld scanners preferred.
Basic computer skills .
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cohesively in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours; overtime occasionally .
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Must be a self-starter.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. occasionally and up to 25 lbs. often.
Stockroom setting with material handling equipment in use and limited exposure to environmental conditions.
Regularly standing, walking, climbing ladders for prolonged periods of time.
Work with personal safety equipment such as safety harness, foot protection, safety glasses, and hearing protection when necessary.
