Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supports production operators and staff in various production related tasks.
Assignments may include: depalletizes, general clean-up sanitarian, packing, loading packaging items, stacking, inspecting/handling of glass bottles/cans, use of electronic scanners and assisting with other tasks as needed.
Works within parameters of established production standards.
Maintains the quality of finished products per specifications.
Maintains and cleans production area as needed, handles/uses caustic chemicals.
Meets safety and security requirements.

As a ProductionWorker you will have the opportunity to work in either our Vacuum Induction Melting or Remelt department. In order to become successful and provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly learn ATI, our manufacturing process, and products while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including engineering, maintenance, quality, and others. * Vacuum Induction Melting

We are seeking candidates with the following:
+ High School diploma or equivalent.
+ You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to perform physical tasks that are repetitive, and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
+ Must be able to read and interpret drawings, use simple math and use basic hand held measuring tools.
+ Basic computer skills are required.
+ While prior manufacturing experience is preferred, we will provide on-the-job training for qualified applicants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To safely and efficiently set up, start up, adjust, and shut down production machines.
To continuously stand and walk at and around production equipment; frequent bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting cases of finished product up to 50 lbs. frequently; have good eye/hand coordination; ability to recognize colors; able to work in ambient temperatures inside the building. Have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Requires ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues. Responsible for maintaining production and quality standards, following job standard operating procedures and all safety procedures; to work well with other productionworkers; follow daily clean-up procedures. Preforming cleaning, sweeping, packing, palletizing, painting, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older at time of hire. High school diploma/GED preferred; The following related education is preferred: National Work Readiness Certificate or BOCES or Vocational Education Training Certificate in related Industrial/Manufacturing Skills, or community college - continuing Education Certificate in related Industrial/Manufacturing/Technical skills, or A.A.S. degree in Technical program field of study (electronics, manufacturing, engineering, computer science. 1-3 years of machine operator experience preferred. Demonstrate proficient computer skills and experience working with automated/computerized machinery. Also preferred: Industrial experience with skilled trades - millwright, carpenter, electrician, operating engineer, laborer, or Industrial experience includes work experience within manufacturing factories, power plants, recycling plants, and paper mills, or work experience in warehousing, distribution center, or high tech material handling environment, or work experience in machining, fabrication and assembly, or metal work, or be active or have been discharged from the U.S. Military. Providing general support to Production Operators and Line Leaders for all production activities by performing a variety of functions as assigned including packing, stacking, bottle dumping and box making.
You will work cross-functionally to support other departments, such as material handling, or processing.
You will verify proper labeling/codes are on cases/jars/jugs and complete required paperwork accurately.
You will verify, against Fill Cards, that all materials being used in production are accurate.
Maintain GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards throughout facility and at machinery.
You may have the opportunity to be trained and certified in Forklift operation, to assist with Production support.
This is the training role that leads to Production Operator roles in the organization.
