Overview
The Payroll Coordinator position is responsible for assisting the payroll manager with payroll processing duties in a fast-paced environment. Completes high quality data entry; meets process deadlines; adheres to defined process tasks; demonstrates attention to detail; and timely communicates risk. Demonstrates the ability to develop broad and deep payroll and systems expertise and deliver accurate and timely employee payments. Utilizes others for instruction, guidance and direction. Develops competence in own area by performing routine work.
This role pays an hourly rate of $25.25-$31.25

Responsibilities
Provide customer service and support to payroll functions for the facility.
Collects detailed information from all departments such as time off requests and time adjustment forms.
Process employee timecard data.
Reviews payroll registers for assigned departments to ensure that all time entry data has been prepared for processing.
Receives and enters adjustments to on-cycle payroll process for assigned departments.
Assist with uploading of files for new hires and employee changes.
Audit Employee Deduction changes.
Maintains the accuracy and integrity of the payroll system by carefully reviewing all entries made and remaining aware of their impact on the payroll process.
Maintains confidentiality regarding associates' personal information and payroll data at all times.
Create and audit reports required by local Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Assist in developing audit tools to clean up data while protecting the data integrity of the payroll system.
Assist in documenting all payroll processes and procedures.
Serve as back up for processing of building/additional team payrolls.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or other related field preferred, Associates Degree required.
1-3 years of payroll experience.
Proven ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
Proven ability to multi-task.
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn systems and processes.

Position Summary
The Director, Transportation Strategies will be responsible for leading, developing and managing the overall parking and transportation operation at UBS Arena. Responsibilities
Leads the Parking and Transportation department including operational oversight, consultant & vendor contract administration, staff management, event and departmental budgeting, campus planning and coordination of all parking & transportation facilities.
Oversees game and event day parking & transportation operations including - staffing plans, shuttle service, and active parking inventory management planning for all internal and external stakeholders (guests, employees, tenants, visitors, vendors, and contractors).
Designs, develops and implements near and long-term business plans that optimize operations, improve the guest experience, generate new revenue opportunities, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and customers.
Act as the liaison between transportation agencies - including New York City Transit, Long Island Railroad and New York City Department of Transportation and UBS Arena to ensure alignment on levels of service and maintenance scheduling
Coach and mentor staff to create a cohesive unit that is focused on the common goals of excellent customer service, efficient parking and transportation operations, safe pedestrian and vehicle movement, and team unity.
Review analytics, trend analyses, forecasting and reporting to help improve the operational and financial performance of the department.
Champion innovation by continually researching new parking and transportation technologies and/or operating methodologies that other venues or companies have adopted, and devise strategies to integrate proven solutions into UBS Arena parking and shuttle operations.
Partner with internal departments and other key stakeholders to ensure parking and transportation needs are continually communicated and completed, for events in particular.
Develop, implement, and oversee TDM programs that increase the use of alternative transportation methods.
Integrate customer and community feedback into continuous program refinements and system improvements.
Establishes performance expectations and standards for all levels of employees and vendors to achieve or exceed performance in sync with Arena standards
Work with HR and other departments to ensure all organizational policies and procedures are followed.
Oversee contracts and maintain strategic relationships with Parking and Transportation

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, engineering, urban studies or related disciplines
8-10 years of progressive experience relating to parking, transportation in a high-volume operation, including at least 2-3 years of managing part-time and full-time staff preferred.
Prior management of event operations involving large event venues strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of management best practices and applying technologies to maximize service and revenues.
Experience in the development and management of operating and project/event and annual budgets.
Ability to anticipate problems and implement immediate corrective action.
Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Considerable knowledge of safety regulations and other federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Ability to lead, give clear and concise direction, and provide constructive feedback to staff.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
Ability to work flexible and extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.

Responsibilities
Perform ice making, maintenance, and repair including edging, divot repair, patching, and crease/line touch-ups.
Operate and perform minor maintenance on ice resurfacers, edgers, and other ice-related equipment.
Assist with aspects of ice installation and removal in collaboration with the Ice Operations Manager.
Conduct occasional maintenance and repair of rink equipment, including, but not limited to, dasher boards, acrylic glass, safety netting, goal nets, and other equipment.
Support the event and operations department in providing optimal ice conditions for all events.
Assist the operations department with conversions between hockey and non-ice events.
Perform general labor tasks and other duties as assigned to support the arena and event requirements.
Qualifications
Certified Ice Technician (CIT) designation preferred, but not required.
Previous experience in ice maintenance, rink operations, or facility management preferred; NHL or arena experience a plus.
Knowledge of ice resurfacing equipment, refrigeration systems, and arena operations strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with long hours, late nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.

Our Guest Experience ADA/Plaza Ambassadors will be essential in creating a safe and memorable experience for all guests at UBS Arena but will focus on our ADA guests. UBS Arena is at the forefront of sustainability, being awarded LEED Green Building Certification in January 2023. The venue also achieved carbon neutrality for operations in Fall 2022 which made it the first arena to do so on the eastern United States seaboard.
Responsibilities
Match guest parking pass and provide real-time guidance to parking location.
Process cashless guest payments.
Direct vehicles on Arena campus roadways and through parking lots and to parking stalls.
Conduct routine vehicle inventory counts before and during events.
Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests and employees promptly and in a friendly manner.
May perform other duties to ensure productive parking operationsincluding moving equipment (including traffic cones, barrels, delineators, movable signage and barricades) to ensure efficient operations.
Follow and comply with safety regulationsand standards.
Provide basic parking lot upkeep, including sweeping and light litter removal.
Perform other duties as needed to ensure productive operations, quality service, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent.
Basic arithmetic skills.
Must have one (1) year's previous experience.
Core customer communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as a team player.
Must have flexibility to work shifts on weekdays, weekday evenings, weekends, early mornings and late nights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Experience working in the customer service industry is a plus.
