Our team partners with management teams to identify critical business challenges, uncover actionable insights, and develop strategic and tactical recommendations, typically supporting execution planning and, in many cases, helping drive implementation. Your key responsibilities
As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Tech - Private Equity Value Creation practice, you will be a vital member of the team leading and executing operational focused projects. Your responsibilities will include:
Own the end-to-end delivery of strategy and execution projects, including scoping, planning, and driving results in high-pressure environments.
Supervise and mentor a team of junior consultants; guide problem-solving efforts and ensure high-quality output.
Manage structured analysis to identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and develop actionable, data-backed recommendations across go-to-market, pricing, customer success, product, and operations.
Build trust with senior stakeholders and communicate complex insights in a clear, compelling manner.
Translate strategy into implementation roadmaps and partner with clients to realize value, often in hands-on, interim leadership or PMO roles.
Play a key role in proposal development, client pitches, and relationship building with private equity sponsors and portfolio companies.

Experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or operating roles with significant exposure to growth, go-to-market, or operational improvement.
Experience leading complex workstreams or full projects in a fast-paced client service environment.
Deep understanding of financial statements and operational performance metrics.
Deep familiarity with Excel-based modeling, operational diagnostics, and strategic frameworks.
Proven success in building relationships with senior client stakeholders.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft and deliver executive-level presentations.
You must either reside in or be in a commutable distance to your office location for this position.
The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Ideally, you will have
MBA from a top-rated school.
Direct experience with private equity sponsors and/or PE-backed portfolio companies.
Sector experience in TMT, with particular emphasis on B2B SaaS business models.

Construction Phase
Lead the execution of structural steel erection projects from estimating/planning through closeout, ensuring performance in the following areas:
Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive work plans, CPM schedules, and four-week lookaheads to guide project execution.
Safety: Establish a strong safety culture through preparation of job and task hazard analyses and on-site monitoring of the work to ensure adherence with OSHA, CalOSHA, and company safety standards.
Project Financial Performance: Establish budgets, monitor project costs, track actual cost to budget variances, and prepare accurate cost forecasts to assess project performance vs. established financial objectives.
Invoicing & Cash Flow: Establish project schedules of values (during bid phase if possible) and manageproject invoicing and collections to ensure positive project cash flow.
Change Management: Proactively address change orders and claims to manage contact risk and ensure positive project cash flow.
Compliance: Identify and proactively manage key contract compliance requirements.
Direct project teams including field supervisors, field workers, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient steel erection.
Conduct routine site visits to assess progress, resolve issues, and maintain productivity.
Coordinate with fabrication and field teams to review and approve erection plans, shop drawings, and field changes.
Maintain detailed project records such as RFIs, submittals, daily reports, change order logs, and financial documentation.
Responsible for project Earned Value Management and forecasting within their projectmanagement software system.
Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance, risks, and milestones.
Quality Assurance
Implement, oversee and manage quality control measures to ensure steel fabrication, delivery, and erection meet contractual and applicable American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) requirements (Our client is a certified AISC steel erector).
Coordinate with fabricators, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure adherence to relevant contractual requirements and industry standards.
Address customer concerns and ensure erected steel structures meet all applicable quality and contractual standards.
