Operates equipment, including troubleshooting and making adjustments in accordance with established work standards. Cleans and assembles equipment according to standard operating procedures.
Conducts quality checks at regular intervals; inspects ingredients and finished product to ensure product is processed according to specifications.

Follows batch instructions on BPR or deviation to meet desired specification via use of reactors, blenders, mixers, fitzmill, metal detector, sifter, roller compactor, rotary press, oscillating granulator, tote tumbler, lift truck, hand jack and other equipment. Notifies supervisor, lead or R&D of any concerns with instructions on BPR or deviation.
Records all item and lot number information on production ticket. Documents and updates mix tickets and log book, ensuring that all information is written truthfully and legibly. Enters all information into computer system for tracking and accountability purposes, ensuring that all information is correct.
Lifts and places raw materials into appropriate tote or tank equipment or mixers via automatic or manual lifting. Properly labels bulk containers, mixes etc.
Keeps Quality Control and Research & Development departments informed, to ensure correct amounts of raw materials are used and to recommend improvements to existing products.

About this Role
FiberTel is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Reno, NV to Sacramento, CA project.
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely and skillfully operating and maintaining construction equipment (cable plows, backhoe, mini excavator, skid steer, rock saw, and other utility construction equipment). About the Role:
You will be at the heart of our operation, running state-of-the-art Direct-to-Film (DTF) and Direct-to-Garment (DTG) printers to create high-quality custom apparel. Your primary focus will be on producing vibrant, lasting designs on t-shirts and other garments for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain DTF and DTG printing equipment.
Prepare garments for printing, including loading and positioning.
Perform routine quality checks to ensure every print meets our high standards.
Perform basic finishing tasks, such as heat-pressing and peeling.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Safely and skillfully operate vehicles and equipment such as excavators, graders, loaders, rollers, and other motorized equipment utilized by the department, as directed. Efficiently and safely operate, care for, and maintain appearance of equipment used in the maintenance and construction of streets and alleys, including washing, preventive maintenance, and servicing of equipment. Perform skilled masonry work on various public works such as curbs, gutters, sidewalks, streets, medians, storm drains, drains, driveways, and walls. Perform finish work on concrete with float or trowel, and on asphalt with an asphalt levellute. Fabricate and prepare concrete forms. Participate in forming concrete structures. Operate hand tools, including hand saws, skill saws, drill press, vibrator, bolt cutters, picks, axes, air compressors, jackhammers, cutting torch, and various weight hammers. Use good judgment to work safely and use equipment properly. Lift and/or carry up to 100 pounds; pull, push, and/or drag up to 150 pounds. Climb, crawl, kneel, squat, stoop, and/or bend freely when working. Work sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time. Hear sufficiently and clearly communicate verbally to work safely with others in noisy situations. Read written instructions, plans; write reports. Work in extreme temperatures, both winter and summer, at night and in daytime, in all types of weather. With proper safety precaution, work in dust, fumes, and loud noises that are routinely encountered in street and alley maintenance operations. Communicate courteously and effectively with other city employees, officials, and the public. Subject to after hours call out for emergency situations as needed. Work on weekends, through lunch, and/or stay late when needed. Perform standby/on-call duty for water/sewer operations as needed.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
In the temporary absence of the crew leader, may be required to oversee the work of a crew of one or more employees and activities at the work site.
REQUIRED EDUCATION; DEGREES, CERTIFICATES, AND/OR LICENSES:
High School Diploma or GED required. Texas Commercial Driver's License, Class A, is required or must be obtained within 6 months.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS:
Two years experience required in all phases of street and alley operations, including one year as Surface Finisher or 10 hours training for surface finisher. One year of training or experience required in operating heavy motorized construction equipment, particularly backhoe/front-end loader. Driving record must be satisfactory according to City and Department rules and policies. Must have mechanical aptitude to make minor repairs and adjustments to assigned equipment in the field. Must be able to use good judgment in safe performance of essential functions of job. Must be able to function effectively within a team environment.

Responsible for quality of jobs printed (output, correct images/quantities, color, material quality).
