We are looking for someone that has a “CAN DO” attitude who will work with his/her team to perform the following and more:
Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials, using trucks, power cranes, shovels, or related equipment.
Operate machines to spread, smooth, level materials on road beds or other job sites as needed.
Observe grade in order to adjust machine settings and indicate.
Conduct documented pre-shift inspections of equipment for safety and mechanical defects.
Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.
Coordinate machine actions in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment, using mechanics' hand tools
Know and follow safety regulations.
Perform necessary work while complying with all company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
Experience:
5 years (Required) in the civil construction industry
5 year (Required) verifiable experience in equipment operations
Requirements:
Driver's License

Inform your Superintendent or Foreman daily of your equipment fuel status so the fuel truck can be scheduled if needed for the next morning
Make a note on your equipment report and let your Superintendent know if you need any supplies, i.e.: grease, oil, rags, cleaning supplies, or if the machine needs to be steam cleaned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Minimum of One (1) year experience in a process manufacturing plant environment is required. Experience within a brown grease processing facility is preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, etc.).
Must be available to work various shifts if needed and be able to work nights, weekends, and overtime to cover absences or provide additional support.
Must have exceptional attention to detail and driven to succeed.
