Darigold is seeking a dependable team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized plant. This role supports daily sanitation of production areas, assists with CIP equipment cleaning, performs basic painting and facility upkeep, monitors and replaces air filters, and helps maintain exterior grounds. The position also includes organizing cleaning tools, following proper storage procedures, assisting Maintenance with routine tasks, operating a forklift as needed (training provided), and completing required GMP and quality training. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): * Cleanup of floors and walls in production areas. * Maintain and monitor areas throughout the plant for cleanliness. * Assist in cleaning equipment "CIP." * Prepping and painting of areas in need of repair throughout the interior of the plant. * Monitoring and changing air filters in all areas of the plant. * Cleanup of grounds outside of the plant. Including trash pickup, sweeping parking areas, painting parking lines, painting of barriers, and Ballard's. * Maintaining organization of the cleaning tools, i.e., Mop buckets, brooms, dust mops, and painting tools and any other tools needed to perform cleanup duties. * Maintain organization of the paint room storage area, ensuring paint and paint thinners are stored in flammable cabinets only. * Must pass the GMP and other training courses assigned through Quality Control. * Dump totes and bags of powdered milk into a blender for reconstituting back into a liquid. * Need to be able to pass the Darigold forklift training and operate a forklift when needed. * Assisting Maintenance engineers in routine maintenance and repairs. Two (2) moving violations ALCOHOL AND CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES TESTING PROGRAM INFORMATION The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is required to implement an Alcohol and Controlled Substance Program to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR), Part 382. The results of the controlled substance test must indicate a verified negative result * You must give consent to ITD to obtain alcohol and controlled substance testing information for the prior 2 years from prior employers After satisfying the above conditions and being formally appointed to the position, you will be subject to the following FMCSR testing requirements: * Random * Reasonable suspicion * Post-accident * Follow-up * Return to duty Please note: Employees are responsible for understanding and complying with the Idaho Transportation Department's drug and alcohol procedures. A refusal to submit to the above testing requirements will result in ineligibility for the position due to the inability to perform the Commercial Motor Vehicle driving functions required.
