The Department of Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) has an outstanding opportunity for a PsychiatricNursePractitioner licensed in the State of Oregon who are interested in moonlighting. OHSU's Department of Psychiatry, in partnership with other major Oregon health systems, is a 100+ bed psychiatric hospital and 75-bed psychiatric emergency service in Northeast Portland.
We use a non-coercive, highly community oriented treatment program, which will prevent hospitalization when possible, and return patients to community services as soon as feasible. The hospital is a major training site for the department's residency training program, medical students, and other health profession's trainees. This is a unique opportunity for a creative, energetic PsychiatricNursePractitioner to treat, teach and advance their academic interests.

The Psychiatric ARNP provides mental healthcare services for students under the direction of the WWU Student Health Center Medical Director. This is a permanent, full time, 9-10 month cyclic position.
80% Direct Clinical Services:
* Psychiatric assessment, diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of conditions, including bipolar and psychotic disorders, ADHD, mental health emergencies.
* Provide prescription and medication oversight, and consult for crisis intervention.
* Obtain medical history, perform physical assessment, establish diagnoses, provide medical consultations, order and interpret lab and other studies, arrange appropriate referrals.
* Prescribe medications or other treatments and arrange follow-up for patients based upon diagnoses. Help to coordinate emergency care and hospitalization when appropriate.
* Perform virtual consultations with patient, family, and/or specialists as indicated.
* Educate patients about their diagnoses, treatment options, prognosis, and appropriate preventive care.
* Accurately and fully document histories, physical exams, behavioral observations, diagnoses, telephone consultations and treatments according to clinical and medical records protocols.
* Personally review and electronically sign all reports of labs, x-rays/other studies, consultation reports and transferred medical records.

* Knowledge and demonstrated clinical experience to appropriately evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage students with acute and chronic mental health issues, and the knowledge and ability to respond in mental health emergencies.

Scheduled Hours40This position will be in clinic running their own patient schedule 4 days a week, with one day dedicated to complete administrative tasks. After a 6 month probation period, the admin day can be from home. The clinic runs 8a-4p, will need to be ready to see patients prior to 8a and may need to stay passed 4p depending on how the clinic flow goes. APPs see about 18-22 patients a clinic day. Surgical Oncology sees a mix of patients and this position will need to be able to see any of theses patients in their clinic. Breast (new and returns), endocrine(returns), and melanoma (returns). There are times where our APP will see post op patients, but this is not regularly scheduled with the APP. The clinic volume is typically 18-22 patients with a 1 hour lunch break to break the day up. Our clinic locations are at the Siteman Cancer Center at BJH in Central West End, and we will be starting to see patients in 2026 at MoBap.
Our APPs have dedicated team members who can help with scheduling follow ups and assist with patients in clinic. In 2026, we will have 4 full time breast surgeons, 2 full time endocrine/melanoma surgeons, and 1 part time endocrine surgeon. Our APPs will primarily see new breast patients who are not in need of surgical intervention, in addition to return breast, endocrine, and melanoma patients.
Day to day would be seeing patients in clinic (new, returns, and postoperative), documentation and notes through patient encounters, and following up on patients results.

Function/Duties of Position

The faculty member will have administrative oversight of the Family NursePractitioner (FNP) track within the MSN Program. The FNP Track Coordinator collaborates with the MSN Director, Chief Nurse Administrator, faculty, preceptors, other MSN track coordinators, the online Division, and the graduate clinical coordinator to ensure academic and nursepractitioner practice standards are maintained within the track. Participation in program accreditation evaluation processes and program activities such as graduation and pinning ceremonies may require the track coordinator to come to campus. The primary responsibilities of this position include teaching and developing online courses within the FNP track and MSN core curriculum, as well as fulfilling faculty expectations for participation in departmental service and appropriate scholarship

Teaching:
Teaching responsibility of 15 credit hours per academic year within the nursepractitioner area of specialty. A course release of one course will be given to allow time for track supervision.
Coordination:

South College Online seeks candidates for an adjunct Master of Science Family NursePractitioner faculty member. The position is online remote and will report directly to the Program Coordinator of the MSN FNP Program.
Responsibilities
* Provide quality instruction in each assigned course within the approved academic program curriculum.
* Respond, in a timely manner, to specific and general information requests from the institution and administrative officials, prospective employers, professional organizations, public agencies, civic organizations, private foundations, general public, and students, as appropriate. At all times, promote appropriate standards of linguistic expression in both written and oral communications.
* Ensure that all academic program requirements and forms of documentation (e.g., clinical evaluations, competency documentation) are completed as required for each student and submitted per established deadlines.
* Ensure all faculty expectations are met on a weekly basis.
* Appropriately manage all classroom activities.
* Be reasonably accessible to students for questions and assistance.
* Monitor educational and professional literature for the best practices in areas related to courses taught.
Requirements
Education
* A doctoral degree in nursing (DNP or PhD), certification as an Advanced practice nurse, preferably in the Family Nurse Practice specialty.
Experience
* Professional experience is required and online teaching experience greatly preferred.
* Will consider non-FNP faculty with experience teaching at the MSN level for select core MSN courses.
Licensure
* Must have PA, LA, TN, and GA APRN License.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and alleviate electronic health record (EHR) usability issues among practitioners

3+ years of demonstrated training or support experience within the Epic EHR system, including designing, developing, presenting, or implementing curricula or workflows

You will work closely with individuals to create personalized stretching routines tailored to their specific needs and goals. This role requires a deep understanding of human anatomy, movement mechanics, and various stretching methodologies. Additionally, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively guiding clients through sessions and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Customer assessment: Conduct thorough assessments via overhead squat to understand the clients limitations and needs.
Customized stretch routines: Develop individualized stretching programs tailored to the clients needs, preferences and limitations.
Hands on techniques: Use static, passive and PNF stretching to help achieve client goals.
Educational support: Offer education and guidance on the importance of assisted stretching, flexibility training, and proper body mechanics.
Documentation: Properly document stretch sessions and client progress.
Client relationship management: Maintain strong professionalism and rapport with clients, listen to their feedback, address and questions or concerns and promote a positive experience at all times.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, or related field.
Certification in stretching techniques or relevant disciplines (e.g., yoga, Pilates, personal training).
Previous experience in personal training, physical therapy, or a related field required.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt and customize stretching routines to accommodate individuals of varying ages, fitness levels, and physical conditions.
CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
