Certification Qualifications: Required: Graduate of state accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography. Required: Current Basic Life Support (AHA or American Red Cross BLS) certification Required: Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the Competency & Credentialing Institute (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date Required: RDCS certification required New graduates ARDMS required after 2 years of employment. For experienced echo sonographer, ARDMS required upon hire.
