12. Provides direct family therapy to patients and their families as directed by treatment planning and program requirements.
13. Maintains appropriate certification, licensure and competency through supervision and/or training and successful completion of annual performance evaluations.
14. Attends continuing education seminars and in-services as necessary to maintain professional licensure, competency, and to meet hospital required educational standards.

Physical Demands
The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
Must have good balance and coordination.
The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
The Associate is required to have close visual acuity including color, depth perception, and field of vision to perform an activity, such as assessing patients, preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact.
Exposure to patient body fluids as well as exposure to hazardous or poisonous materials.
Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.

About the Role:
As a Therapist, you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families through various mental health challenges by providing compassionate, evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Your work will focus on assessing clients' psychological needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote emotional well-being and resilience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and provide crisis intervention when necessary to support clients in acute distress. This role requires a deep understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse populations and life transitions. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to improving clients' quality of life by fostering healthier coping mechanisms and emotional growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
* Valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, including individual and group therapy.
* Strong knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and behavioral health principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse client populations.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Specialized training or certification in family therapy, anger management, or trauma-informed care.

* Additional credentials such as Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) or equivalent.
