    Responsible to offer individuals, siblings family counseling services. Also facilitates psychoeducational groups, education, family support, court guidance, case management, and child advocacy services to child victims and their non-offending family members in a culturally sensitive manner. Also makes every effort to ensure that services rendered are not financially prohibitive. This position will train in our Knoxville location and transfer to Morristown in mid to late February. Must be able to commute for training in Knoxville. This position does not have direct reports. Essential Functions: * Provides clinical assessment, individual and family therapy related to child abuse issues for children, adolescents, non-offending adults, and families, as well as the facilitation of psychoeducational groups for non-offending guardians, caretakers, and adolescents. * A minimum of seventy (70) percent of time is spent in the provision of direct services to clients * Maintains a minimum of 22-25 patient caseload * Has specific clinical responsibilities for each case assigned including, but not limited to: * Initial treatment assessments and formulations (psychosocial assessments; interviews with patient, parents and significant others to obtain data on the patient's personal, social, developmental, and emotional history; timely completion of all assessment tools used at intake including but not limited to BASC, CATS, TSCC, WASI-II, etc.). * Therapy delivery (weekly, biweekly, or every other week as clinically indicated). * Referrals to appropriate in-house services such as OT or FSP. * Case Management (case coordination with other disciplines, attend team meetings, etc.). * Communication with clients (Referral sources, parents/guardians, school officials, etc.). * Timeliness of all necessary documentation (intakes, progress notes, case notes, treatment plans & reviews, annuals, contact calls, monthly summaries, discharge summaries, special notes, referrals, etc.). * Participation in the implementation of all clinical aspects of the Childhelp Children's Center programs * Creates and maintains files with all paperwork and written reports related to clientele in accordance with OBHL, the Center's policies and procedures, and the forensic environment. * Completes all necessary documentation in record, in a timely, thorough, and professional manner according to the following deadlines: * Phase II Signature Packet - 24 hours from the date of intake * Initial Treatment Plan - 24 hours from the date of intake * Psychosocial Assessment with Assessment tools scores - 75 days from the date of intake and annually * Master Treatment Plan - 4-6 weeks from the date of intake and every 6 months * Therapy Session Progress Notes - Due every Monday at noon following date of service * CFT Note - Due date of service * Monthly Summary - Due by the 7th of the following month * ALL Case Notes - Due date of service * Discharge Summary - 24 hours from the date of discharge * Discharge Questionnaire - 24 hours from the date of discharge * Psychological Evaluation Report - 7 days from the date of final test administration day * Safety Plan - Due date of service * Other Documentation - Due date of service * Facilitates group therapy sessions for assigned treatment groups. * Provides parent education, including facilitation of psychoeducational groups. * Participates in research protocols. * Provides immediate intervention and family stabilization services, when necessary. * Provides On-Call services for the center's partners for 6-10 weeks/year depending on staffing. * Stays at the Center or at any Satellite locations until 7 pm at least once a week on a regularly scheduled basis. * Attends weekly clinical staff meetings and training, monthly Center all-staff meetings, and multi-disciplinary team meetings. * Attends weekly supervision to discuss case conceptualization, to review treatment goals, to discuss problems or obstacles to progress, to exchange ideas for intervention strategies, to provide clinical training, and to assist with difficult or problem families/cases. * Coordinates services with a multidisciplinary team, including law enforcement, CPS, medical staff, forensic interviewers, and other persons/groups related to child abuse issues and ongoing cases, as necessary and appropriate within the forensic environment. * Provides court testimony, as needed. * Reports to Clinical and Administrative MH Directors, who report to the Director of the Center. * Participates annually in 24 hours of relevant, continuing education/training events in order to maintain continuing education for professional licensure and clinical competency in the forensically sensitive specialty setting. * Represents Childhelp through speaking engagements, educational opportunities, and public appearances. * Participates in Center-based self-care and team building activities. * Comports self in a positive and professional manner appropriate to a child-friendly and family-friendly atmosphere in a trauma-informed manner. Engages in collegial activities with peers and colleagues. * Consistently exercise sound, independent judgment and adequate emotional stability in evaluating situations and making decisions despite the pressures of deadlines or the occurrence of unexpected stressful events. * Participates on committees and in professional meetings and staffings as necessary for the overall development and function of the program. * Assures consistency in dealing in a tactful and harmonious fashion with staff, residents, and the public and to adhere to and follow all policies and procedures as designated and defined by the Senior Director, Programs/Services * Carries out other duties as assigned.
