⢠Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections at the end of every shift and immediately report any deficiency to Supervisor.
⢠Ensure compliance of route schedule.
⢠Maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fueling of buses, logging trip counts and assisting disabled passengers.
⢠Obey all federal, state, and local laws regarding proper operation of shuttle bus.
⢠Possess a valid state-issued driver's license to be carried with driver, at all times, while on duty.
⢠Have and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
⢠Courteously assist customers by answering any questions they may have. If necessary, direct the customer to the Supervisor for further assistance.
⢠Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Supervisor or General Manager.
⢠Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to Supervisor.
⢠Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, thorough knowledge of the major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
⢠Assisting customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable.
⢠Assist Supervisors with other duties as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience Required: High School education or GED preferred. CDL training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement: Per DOT Regulations, driver will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement. Driver must have a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets acceptable company standards.
DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Maintaining Certifications: All drivers must remain compliant with federal and local CDL requirements and are required to report any situation the disqualifies them from having a CDL certification. This includes random drug testing and post-accident drug testing.
Language Skills: Ability to read, comprehend, write simple correspondence, speak and communicate all aspects of job related in the English language. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers and other employees of the company.

Summary:
The Route Delivery Driver at Pacific Seafood is a key role on our Transportation team supporting efforts to maintain operational efficiency, enhance brand reputation, and help drive sales. This position involves providing accurate product and pricing information, taking orders, and ensuring product is delivered in a safe and efficient manner and is ideal for someone who is customer service oriented, safety conscious, and pays close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Efficient Operations:
* Ensure goods are loaded into trucks in a safe and logical order communicate needed changes to manager.
* Ensure the load is properly secured.
* Verify order to ensure correct products loaded and delivered.
* Deliver orders to customers according to predetermined route delivery schedule. Communicate any needed routing changes to the manager.
* Responsible for handling merchandise in a safe and efficient manner.
* Unload products from delivery truck and place product as the customer desires.
* Provide efficient, accurate and productive service to the customer.
* Perform backhauls, airport pickups, etc. as needed.
* Ensure all necessary delivery paperwork is completed accurately and in full. Complete credit/debit documentation accurately.
* Return all shipping documents, return product and credit documentation to designated area on completion of deliveries.
* Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and report any maintenance problems to manager.
* Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company-customer relationship as it applies to the scope of the job function.
