What You'll Do
Oversee a mixed fleet of vans and box trucks across middle-mile and last-mile delivery routes
Recruit, schedule, and coach drivers to meet on-time performance (OTP) and customer satisfaction goals
Maintain full control of your P&L - monitor revenue, manage expenses, and drive sustainable profitability
Manage fleet logistics flow from order pickup to delivery
Own key operational metrics such OTP, Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
Minimum Requirements
3+ years in logistics, fleet management, or depot operations
Strong leadership experience; able to manage 10-30 drivers and multi-vehicle operations
Must have legal right to establish and operate a Limited Liability Company (LLC)
Have an entrepreneurial spirit; must be ready to run and scale your own logistics business
Must be motivated by the pursuit of autonomy, fulfillment and financial freedom.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong business acumen; comfortable with managing working capital, payroll and running a P&L
Experienced with OTP, SLA compliance and NPS

Responsibilities:
Supervises day-to-day activities of operators to ensure compliance with operational requirements for safe bus operations including compliance with corporate safety training processes and practices
Provides support, advice and guidance to operators in responding to a variety of issues (e.g. customer complaints, bus and/or worker safety, time-off requests), assessing situations and determining appropriate course of action (e.g. additional training, counseling) to prevent further occurrences in the future
Ensures a positive work environment for operators by providing coaching, mentoring and non-safety related training to promote high employee motivation and morale and commitment to company values and excellence in customer service
Monitors on-time performance
Prepares and submits required reports in a timely manner
Supervises compliance with Company policies and/or processes by action and speech; discusses any breech of policy and procedure noted with General Manager
Collects and audits employee DVIs
Evaluates the performance of all direct-report personnel on a regular basis according to company policy
Administers appropriate employee discipline as necessary
Exhibits the highest ethical best practices and personal integrity; Shares concerns about suspicious or inappropriate behavior with their supervisor or manager

High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
5+ years of work experience required, with 3 years in transit industry preferred; college education can be substituted for up to 2 years required work experience
Knowledge of the company, service promise, services, capabilities, policies, procedures and practices to effectively manage operators in various locations, resolve issues in accordance with company goals and objectives and promote the company as a leading bus transportation service provider
Proven supervisory expertise and knowledge of related methods, practices and techniques
