Looking for a part-time morning position? Do you enjoy working, interacting with, and playing with children? This may a position you will enjoy. This part-time position is mainly for our school - age children. You will work an early morning shift somewhere between 6:30-9:00 am. You will be responsible for supervising children, mostly between the ages of 5-12 years old, but sometimes as young as infancy. At approximately 7:30 am you will safely transport the school-age children to a local elementary school in our van or small school bus, and drop them off for their school day. You will arrive back to the childcare center and help out until our later staff arrive. If you are looking for additional hours, a part-time afternoon shift may be available. All applicants must: pass Level 2 background screenings pass or be working toward passing the DCF 45 hours complete 2 school readiness mandated trainings childcare Hold a current and valid first aid/CPR certification Have a valid regular driver's license ( NO special license, such as a cdl needed) be willing and able to drive a 15 passenger van and small 15 passenger bus have a clean driving record pass a driver's physical complete a transportation class on the DCF website. be friendly and outgoing Have a love for children be a team player be diligent about safety and following safety protocols both on and off campus be willing and able to supervise a group of children independently using appropriate discipline willing and able to be a responsible driver be willing and able to follow directions
