You will be placing IV's under direction of an IV sedation certified dentist, oral surgeon, or CRNA for IV sedation on patients under going wisdom teeth removal. You will also be responsible to attend to patient while recovering from anesthesia and assist the oral surgery team in any other duties they may train you in such as taking x-rays, sterilizing instruments, greeting patients, etc. You will also assist the dentist or oral surgeon and/or CRNA in other sedation related duties such as connecting patient to monitors, nasal cannula, etc. Competence and experience in placing difficult IV's is required.
