Participate in vendor selection, contract negotiation, and relationships with Corp Business Affairs and Corp Vendor Management. Provide financial updates to News and Corporate Finance; resolve invoice discrepancies and renew contracts. Operational Excellence & Compliance Establish and implement IT service management guidelines and information security (ITIL or similar frameworks). Oversee employee onboarding/offboarding, asset recovery, and compliance with HR and Legal requirements. Monitor ServiceNow incidents and requests; establish KPIs and operational metrics. Lead incident response, security assessments, and InfoSec initiatives. Team Leadership & Collaboration Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing technical team. Coordinate staffing schedules and resource allocation Champion, knowledge sharing, documentation, and training. Liaise between inter-company technical teams, news leadership, and external partners. Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical partners. Maintain organized documentation for systems, processes, and procedures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other duties as assigned) Overall management of swine farm including, but not limited to: Maximize Feed Intake Feeder management -- daily adjustments Feed ration management Water -- flow and availability Minimize stress events Ventilation Management Controller knowledge Air -- flow, speed, and exchange Set temp vs. actual Environment assessment - laying patterns, humidity, cleanliness Health Management Medication/vaccination schedule execution Treatment identification Threshold communication Overall Flow Management Wean-pig management Facility setup and organization Daily husbandry for pigs between 10 -- 40 pounds (4.5 -- 18kg) Feed management and ordering Finisher-pig management Daily husbandry for pigs between 40 -- 300 pounds (18 -- 136kg) Mortality removal using mortality cart/snare of pigs between 40 -- 300 pounds (18 -- 136kg) Stocking density/square footage Pig market selection and marketing Sort and load market pigs averaging 285 pounds (130kg) Light groundskeeping and upkeep around the farm Barn preparation between groups of pigs Supervisory Duties: N/A POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's of Science degree or equivalent experience Experience: 6 months pig experience preferred but not required Work Environment: Agricultural swine environment in rural area Noise levels that require hearing protection in some areas loading pigs and small swine care processes Physical Requirements: Standing, walking and ability to be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day Frequent bending, reaching, squatting and kneeling Frequent use of one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull Frequent lifting of objects weighing 3-20 pounds Occasional bending while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds or requiring up to 100 pounds of force to move with the assistance of another person as needed Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Must be able to print and/or write legibly Additional Requirements: Must be able to work every other weekend and holiday Must have reliable transportation to get to work and attend meetings
