Where You Will Work
Our Henderson mine and mill are an hour drive apart - separated by the Continental Divide and a 15-mile conveyor system (10 miles underground). The Henderson mine is an underground molybdenum mining operation located approximately 42 miles west of Denver and 10 miles west of Empire. It has been in operation since 1976 and today consists of a large block-cave, underground mining complex feeding a concentrator with a current capacity of approximately 32,000 metric tons per day. It can produce approximately 15 million pounds of molybdenum per year. The Henderson mill is located 15 miles west of the mine, between Dillon and Kremmling.
Both sites are surrounded by US Forest Service land of the Arapaho National Forest, making it easy for our employees and their families to enjoy year-round hiking, cross-country skiing, and snowshoeing in the area. What You Will Do
* Safely perform duties related to the production of copper and/or molybdenum concentrates in the Mill at a skilled level.
* Complete duties within the Mill process which could include tasks within the following areas: fine crushing plant, COB, ball Mill, roughers, cleaners, flotation cells, moly plant, copper moly thickeners, tailing thickeners, and mill control room
* Take process readings and makes necessary process changes or adjustments
* Use electronic process monitoring system to monitor conveyor, plant systems and equipment
* Perform start-up and shut-down of plant or related systems
* Operate processing equipment and makes adjustments as needed; performs basic maintenance on processing equipment and reports maintenance issues
* May operate mobile equipment such as front-end loaders, forklifts, skid-steer loaders, and overhead cranes
* Perform area housekeeping duties and may perform work area and safety audits
* Perform other duties as required
What You Bring To Freeport
* Six (6) months of experience in Mill process operations
* Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills/abilities and/or academic knowledge; as well as safety.

As our Resort Maintenance Technician, you will perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of our Resorts while providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Complete routine maintenance and minor emergency electrical repairs, plumbing, sewage, construction, and street repair
Inspect the irrigation system regularly to ensure it is working properly and repair as necessary
Inspect playground area and equipment, pool/spa area, and other recreational amenities to ensure everything is in good condition and make minor repairs as needed
Ensure the resort is presentable and inviting at all times and that it adheres to Island's curb appeal standards
Regularly treat for weeds, weed whips, rake leaves, plant flowers/shrubs, spreads mulch/woodchips/stones, trim shrubs and hedges, cut down and remove tree limbs damaged by adverse
weather conditions, and perform other lawn care services as necessary
Ensure trash/debris is picked up daily from common areas and streets on a daily basis
Empty common area trash containers as needed
Clean resort amenities which may include clubhouses, tennis courts, pickleball courts, resort offices, restrooms, laundry areas, bath houses, and maintenance garage
Maintain vacant sites, including strap-downs and removal of trash and debris
Remove snow from community streets, parking lots, building entrances, and other areas Island is responsible for maintaining, where applicable. (May include using a truck with a plow, spreading
salt, snow blowing, and/or shoveling.)
Complete checklists of the physical condition of resort sites prior to and after guest occupancy
Assist Resort Manager with the supervision of service contractors
Report all maintenance issues and concerns that may be identified while performing daily duties to the manager
Ensure all resort streets and public access routes are free of hazards
Maintain resort pool(s), tests chemical levels, and adjust appropriately, where applicable
Maintain resort vehicles and equipment
Follow safety procedures while performing duties, including safely operating vehicles when moving from site to site and picking up supplies
Job Qualifications:
Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to provide legible written reports
Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call
6 months previous maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort is preferred

Job Description: Maintain AVA's fleet and manage CDL driver staff.
Requirements:
Manage driver staff, including scheduling drivers
Address vehicle maintenance concerns
Coordinate with in-house maintenance staff to ensure the timely repair of vehicles
Work with outpost specific General Manager to schedule and budget for outsourced repairs
Track and file paperwork to maintain DOT compliance for vehicle condition and driver logging
Schedule drug tests for pre-employment of every driver and coordinate random drug screenings throughout season
Hold weekly meetings with drivers to address any driver concerns as well as update drivers on any changes of pickups locations
Train new driver staff - training must include all drivers driving all trips as if it were a running trip: (we will train on all aspects that you will need to train staff on)

Ensure all drivers are performing pre-trip inspections properly and communicating maintenance needs immediately using materials provided by AVA.
Ensure all vehicles contain all proper equipment including jacks, tire irons, fire extinguisher, hazard triangles, water and all necessary permits and parking stickers.
Ensure cleanliness of entire fleet by holding drivers accountable for daily trash removal, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and washing.
Be aware of DOT regulations and ensure fleet can pass DOT inspections in coordination with Outpost Mechanic.
Ensure drivers are professional and delivering exceptional guest service at all times, are clean, in uniform and approachable to our guests.
Inform outpost managers of any personnel issues and coordinate with them on giving feedback, coaching for correction and any disciplinary action as needed.
Address all safety concerns with outpost managers, drivers and any other staff as needed.
Attend staff safety meetings bi-monthly and express any transportation safety concerns with staff during those meetings.
Ensure DVIRS are filled out correctly, filed and kept for three months
Ensure driver clearinghouse compliance in addition to drug testing pre-season as well as mid-season random testing.
Ensure drivers are meeting hours of service compliance.

Qualifications:
Must have prior heavy equipment driving experience, preferable large bus or semi-truck.
Must hold a valid Commercial Driver's License, Class A or B, with air brake and passenger endorsement.
A current Medical Examination Report is a prerequisite for employment.
A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
Basic maintenance skills preferred
Knowledge of DOT regulations (will train)
A drug screen is mandatory, and randomized drug and alcohol testing is also required by state and federal law.
