Job Description:
Parsons is now hiring an experienced Senior Industrial Architect with a desire to work on a variety of project type that include Chemical Plants, Utility Projects, Large Industrial Facilities, Pharmaceutical and Data Centers. Parsons' extensive experience in this field, combined with your architectural knowledge, will propel your career forward with opportunity for advancement with top performance. We need our Senior Architects to be versatile, enthusiastic to work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment. In this role you will complete a wide variety of difficult architectural assignments, applying architectural design techniques. The ability to travel to project sites to meet with clients and survey facilities is required.
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of assignments such as conducting architectural studies, developing design concepts and design criteria, and preparing related reports.
Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by Architectural Designers. Ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Provides technical consultations for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses.
Writes construction specifications and prepares detailed requisitions for equipment and materials.
Interfaces with suppliers as required.
Reviews supplier drawings and samples, and performs technical bid analyses.
Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site. Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others.
Provides the seal and signature of a professional architect when required by statute or contract.
Provides technical guidance to lower-level Architects and Architectural Designer/Drafters working on the same project.
Keeps abreast of current technologies via technical subscriptions and attendance at conferences.
Prepares staffing estimates and execution plans.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent) is required and typically 8+ years of Related Experience. Professional registration is required at this level.
Requires proficiency in the application of architectural design standards, practices, techniques, and concepts. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and software packages typically associated with architectural design is highly preferred.
The ability to make presentations to clients and others is required.

Our award-winning urban design, landscape architecture, and planning practice is seeking **Urban Designer or Landscape Architecture Design Leader** who has a passion for working on complex civic-focused projects. This role is to be based in **Cleveland or Columbus, OH** .

**Minimum Requirements**

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in landscape architecture or urban design
+ Licensed Landscape Architect in Ohio (within 6 months of hire)
+ Ten plus years of relevant professional design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
+ Proficiency in Autocad, Adobe Creative Suite, and at least one of the following 3D modeling and rendering platforms (revit, rhino, sketchup)

You will be developing elevations, sections, 3D renderings and architectural details for projects. You will be assisting on innovative and creative new prototypes designed with sustainable products with green architecture sensibility as your goals.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing complex tasks on medium to large size projects.
* Plans, organizes, and directs the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client.
* Keeps the Principal in Charge informed of progress on project expectations, deadlines, and deliverables and understands the limits of the decision-making responsibilities of the role and respects the boundaries of the Principal in Charge's responsibilities.
* Leads the client and project team to assure that the project design meets the client budget, schedule, program, and design intent.
* Assists in the negotiation and development of project agreements.
* Develops and manages project budget, schedule, and overall work plan to realize target financial performance.
* Mentors Assistant Project Managers and motivates project teams.
* Assures that Project Management Framework tasks are timely completed and properly documented.
* Leads project coordination and owner/site meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants, owner and contractor and sub-contractors.
* Manages and tracks change orders, applications for payment by contractors and other contractual modifications impacting budget and schedule.
* Works with Operations Manager in determining project staffing needs and recommending personnel.
* Directs client invoicing and effectively manages collections.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
* Capable of simultaneously supporting one or more Principal's in Charge on multiple projects.
* Thorough understanding of accessibility codes, life-safety codes, building construction systems, means and methods, materials, and industry associated standards.

Education and Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field & Registered Architect.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience. LEED Green Associate or LEED AP preferred.

Pay Range:
* Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas-$101,100.00 - $151,700.00 Annually

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
