Job Description: Marine Electrician Pay: $34.00Sign-On bonus: $1,000 Marine electricians install, service, and repair electrical systems on naval and commercial vessels built at the shipyard. They install and link wiring, install power distribution, install lighting, navigation, and communications equipment, and set up all electrical components to safety standards as well as to U.S. Navy or Coast Guard specifications. They also perform inspections, check electrical circuits, and fix defective equipment to keep vessels in working and mission-capable condition.
