The ideal candidate will be adept at planning, directing, and monitoring marine engineering and diving projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct underwater inspections of various structures, including bridges, dams, piers, wharves, marinas, ports, bulkheads, and seawalls. Perform condition inspections and quality control inspections for construction projects. Engage in structural design and analysis of marine structures. Your Capabilities and Credentials - Collegiate-level knowledge and application of structural design codes and standards (CBC/IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318 and/or ACI 350, TMS 402, AISC 360), and the application of these provisions - Introductory understanding of all phases of project document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications - Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics and principles, structural systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards - Ability to manage time to meet project budget and schedule - Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought - Effective oral and written communication skills - Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite - Working knowledge of 3D models and 2D structural engineering drawings using Revit and AutoCad and the ability to produce models or drawings - Experience using structural engineering/finite element analysis software such as STAAD, RAM, SAP2000, RISA is preferred - Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree preferred - Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience - Engineer Intern (EI) certification in Ohio required.
