Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. WE LOVE OUR WORK.
As a Banquet Server, you will:
Shift: On-Call | Pay: $6.875 per hour + tips (Avg $22 to $24 per hour)
* Provides fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests, restaurant staff, and culinary production team.
* Takes food and beverage orders, delivers prepared food promptly, and checks with table periodically to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Maintains current and accurate information regarding menu (i.e., preparation techniques, seasonings, ingredients, and plate presentation).
* Suggests items to guests based on expressed guest preferences.
* Resolves service issues according to established guidelines.
* Assists bus persons, as necessary, in bussing, cleaning, and setting tables.
* Maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards.
* Deep cleans restaurant equipment (tables, chairs, booths, soda and juice dispensers, coffee machines), as scheduled, or required.
* Operates and maintains equipment as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures.
* Completes assigned side work as directed.
* Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

* High School Diploma or equivalent, with previous food server experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
* Knowledge of wine service, table service procedures, and table etiquette strongly preferred.
* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
* Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to follow all departmental and property policies and procedures.
* Must be able and willing to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as business needs dictate.
* Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments.

WE LOVE OUR WORK.
* The set-up of the banquet facilities including arranging tables, chairs, linens, serve ware, and, if applicable, some decorations.
* Plating and serving of the guests meals.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a quicker and timelier set-up and tear down of banquet facilities.
* Provides personalized service and uses guest name
* Resolves service problems according to guidelines
* Various other duties may be assigned as roster of banquets changes.

* High School diploma or equivalent and/or six months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Basic computer knowledge.
* Must be able to read and write in English and have good verbal communicating skills.
* Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, fractions, decimals, percentages etc.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
* Must be TiPS certified.
* Must have clean/valid driver's license.
