JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The School of Visual Arts in the College of Arts and Architecture invites applications for one or more Part-Time Instructor positions to teach courses in the Bachelor of Design in Digital Multimedia Design (DIGMD) degree.
Digital arts/design courses may include 2D, 3D, interaction design, time-based media, and critical theory. This multidisciplinary online degree is offered in partnership with the Colleges of Communication and Information Science and Technology. The DIGMD degree requires students to apply interdisciplinary digital media knowledge in a range of digital contexts. A Master's degree or enrollment in a Ph.D. program in a relevant field of study is required. Online teaching experience is highly desirable. In addition to teaching, Instructors may be asked to participate in the development of web-based courses.
These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time Instructors will normally teach one to two sections of the course per semester. To learn more about the School of Visual Arts, please visit our website at ********************

Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Professional nurse licensure required.
Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience working in a clinical setting
Prior teaching experience.
Experientially prepared to teach assigned courses.
A passion for teaching and openness to teaching a variety of courses.
Maintain current regulatory and practice credentials, when appropriate, based on assignment.
Excellent communication skills along with a high level of initiative and prudent judgment
Scholarship Requirements: Demonstrates scholarship congruent with the level of rank.

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520.91and $96,736.53. Writing for New Media, the process of writing for digital, interactive platforms (gaming, AR/VR, social media, podcasting, webtoons/anime etc.) to inform the writing process and prepare writers to stay current with innovation in entertainment.

Responsibilities We are seeking highly qualified applicants with research on fluid dynamics in the near-shore and offshore environments. The specific focus of this search is to expand the collaboration with the faculty in structural and geotechnical engineering. Applicants with significant overlap with the current faculty expertise (ex, focus on wind tunnel testing or focus on structural mechanics rather than fluid mechanics) will not be competitive.
The candidate must show evidence of research and collaboration in fluid-structure interaction such as wind-structure or wave-structure interactions. We are especially interested in a candidate with an interdisciplinary background and research experience. Example areas of interest include but not limited to:
* CFD simulations of wind or wave effects on structures
* Computational modeling of turbulence in atmospheric boundary layer winds
* Hydroelasticity and wave mechanics (in a scale relevant to typical coastal structures)
* Hydrodynamic loads on offshore platforms and energy structures
* Fluid dynamics associated with tropical cyclones near surface, under current and future climate conditions
Qualifications
Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering or a closely related discipline. Post-doctoral experience in related topic areas is preferred. The successful candidate is expected to establish and maintain a robust externally funded research program, have a strong commitment to teaching excellence in undergraduate and graduate courses, and participate in college and professional service. Possession of a Professional Engineering (PE) License or the ability to obtain a Florida PE license is highly desirable.

Qualifications
