Job Purpose Statement: Warehouse Associate I position is expected to move, organize, and load products to ensure accurate and timely deliveries to our customers. Summary of Responsibility: Handle product ensuring the correct parts are properly organized and in the correct container Review product for any obvious defects and reject for review Interface with computer software, scan guns, and documentation for various aspects of the process Properly label and organize containers of product Operator powered industrial vehicles (PIV) or manual pallet movement equipment as needed Complete and document all safety checks as required for use of a PIV or for entry into a shipping container Accurately complete all paperwork assigned for a specific assignment Qualifications Education, Experience and Skills Required: High School diploma or GED required Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing/distribution operation preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting production and quality goals Ability to obtain and maintain a valid forklift or equipment license as needed or required Must read, write and communicate in English Ergonomic & Physical Requirements: Must be able to meet the Ergonomic as well as the Physical Base Score for this position. The Stock Associate is responsible for maximizing selling potential by ensuring the efficient and effective flow of merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor. The Stock Associate is accountable for delivering on all aspects of stockroom standard operating procedures (SOP) and achieving the brand standards for shipment processing, replenishment, markdowns and merchandising. Execute efficient and effective shipment processing by following processing and placement guidelines; track and communicate units per hour productivity to store leadership. Consistently provide support to fellow employees through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks and/or assisting in customer interactions. Engage in, maintain and support safety standards on sales floor and in the stockroom; communicate safety concerns to store leadership. The Warehouse Associate II is responsible for pick and pack order fulfillment and inventory handling in an efficient and accurate manner. This position works with a variety of products, customer orders, and systems to provide exceptional service to Southwestern Distribution Center (SWDC) customers. The Warehouse Associate II works with multiple software platforms, supervises the output of a picking line, and operates machinery/equipment necessary for order fulfillment. This position reports to the Warehouse Manager and provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers while demonstrating the company values and supporting the mission.
