This role ensures that all electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with regulatory standards. | WHAT YOU GET TO DO Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for machinery, HVAC, electrical systems, and facility infrastructure. Respond to equipment breakdowns and coordinate timely repairs. Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment history. Facility Operations Responsible for organizing and producing engineering drawings for installation and commissioning of new and existing designs that consist of physical layouts (general arrangements, grounding, conduits) to electro-mechanical and microprocessor type protection relay systems in medium voltage stations. Work with facilities maintenance technicians in troubleshooting facility systems or equipment failures. Oversee building electrical systems including lighting, fire protection alarm systems, heating/cooling, and security. Leading and supporting design teams involved with conceptual, preliminary, and final design of station projects. Performs engineering design work and engineering studies. Develop test plans and perform tests on electrical circuitry, equipment, and systems. Performs as engineering project leader. Prepares specifications and evaluates bids. Prepares recommendation material for management consideration. Administers and reviews work performed by consultants and others. Performs field engineering work and analyses. Responsible for project budgets and schedules. Manage contractors and vendors for facility services and repairs. Budgeting & Resource Management Assist with preparing and managing the maintenance and facilities budget. Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities. Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies. Compliance & Safety Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments. Support emergency response planning and drills. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and facility efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on capital projects and upgrades. Utilize Lean, TPM, or Six Sigma methodologies to drive improvements. | WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, (Professional Engineer (PE) license and advance degree is a plus) or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted. Experience 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering in a manufacturing environment Skills Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to emergencies.
